Framing for fame?
Hammering for hype?
Erecting for exposure?
Setting up for stardom?
Raising for renown?
Implementing for image?
Pimping for publicity?
Lots of ways to go with that press package! Most of the info is out there now in the public domain by way of press releases, presentations, the April Belgium presentation showing EXIM status, recovery rates, ore grades, demonstration plant outcomes, AlSc alloy development and commercialization efforts, estimated CM and REE resources, permitting status etc.

Time to start getting the word out and making the case to the world and more retail investors that Elk Creek and NioCorp are the next best thing, not Halleck Creek and American Rare Earths! Seems like any argument for a quiet period or something similar is long past. The more folks queued up and watching when news hits, the better.

Critical Contrast: NioCorp Developments (NASDAQ:NB) and U.S. Gold (NASDAQ:USAU)
Posted by Defense World Staff on Apr 25th, 2024
The things you can find on the interwebs! No clue what generated this but here it is...
"NioCorp Developments presently has a consensus target price of $12.00, suggesting a potential upside of 387.80%. U.S. Gold has a consensus target price of $14.50, suggesting a potential upside of 258.02%. Given NioCorp Developments’ higher probable upside, equities analysts plainly believe NioCorp Developments is more favorable than U.S. Gold."

Scandium: The element that could revolutionise clean energy
Critical Raw Materials
18th April 2024
"For example, several countries are stepping up efforts to increase their scandium reserves. Moreover, market demand analysis shows a clear upward trajectory, with companies throughout the supply chain collaborating to secure scandium sources. To ensure the transition to clean energy, developing robust supply chains for this critical element requires investment in research and development of new extraction technologies."
"However, current production levels can’t meet the voracious demands of a burgeoning clean energy sector. To capitalise on scandium’s potential, we need to see a dramatic shift in scandium production."

Kona Gold was always a holding company.
They should have re-named the energy drinks NuVibe and ditched the confusing and misleading Kona Gold name (is it coffee? is it weed? is it Hawaiian? why is it more like lead than gold?).

Lots of new stuff coming out but if you click on that “more info on the op” link he specifically says it’s vanadium which is a heavy metal. There are other companies too but pretty sure Invinity is the specific one he’s taking about.

Welcome to CriticalMinerals.gov.
Thanks again! The need to teach them seemed to be evident in the Federal Register request for information. I share your impression that EXIM will be the dam breaker and the rest will follow. Sounds, at least, as though everything is still on track and moving forward!

To be fair, EXIM has had a few hiccups along the way with the billions it has lent. It's unlikely though that the management team is trying to go to prison.

Thank you, TD. I do think they want this in the "Win" column before the election. Did he also then give the sense that he doesn't think EXIM will be by the end of Q2? That would be disappointing but not overly discouraging.

André Tiedje: “Price target 116”
(Translated by a free online service, no assurances of accuracy.)
March 5, 2016
If Elliott waves produce similar predictions to fundamental observations, then it might be worth combining the two...
In recent years, the stock market has increasingly degenerated into a plaything for political actors. In view of the current situation in Europe, the upcoming state elections in three federal states and in the wake of the increasingly pressing problems of our unfunded debt money system, it is to be expected that this trend will accelerate massively.
We announced these developments here years ago and have repeatedly commented on them in detail. But the individual will do little to combat the emerging misery. Therefore, it probably makes more sense to develop solutions instead of constantly pointing out the escalating problems. Ultimately, this costs a lot of nerves and achieves nothing.
For this reason, too, we have been focusing more on the topic of “sustainable investing” in the countercyclical stock market newsletter for some time. Here we introduce our readers to companies whose products make our world a little better.
These can be manufacturers of renewable energies, companies that optimize production processes from an ecological perspective, or that generally pay attention to the ethical and sustainable orientation of their business areas. There are a number of companies that we are monitoring in this context. And there are more and more...
We noticed the Canadian NioCorp Developments (NB.TO) in this context some time ago . Regular readers of our comments will remember. In my personal opinion, the small company is one of the most promising raw material investments in the world.
A few key details:
NioCorp is in the process of developing Elk Creek, the only niobium deposit in the United States. Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse are supporting the Canadians to fully finance the project. In the past, the company's managers had repeatedly made massive purchases of their own shares - a very important point.
But what is so interesting about niobium and what does “sustainable investing” mean in this context?
Even in the lowest concentrations, the mineral can significantly increase the strength of steel. A pleasant side effect: stainless steel becomes significantly lighter. This is particularly important in the automotive industry. Here, a mid-range car can be slimmed down by around 100 kilograms by adding niobium worth just $9.00. This results in fuel savings of around five percent.
“Incidentally,” so to speak, significant amounts of scandium were also found in Elk Creek. In aluminum production, similar effects can be achieved as in steel production with niobium: When using scandium, aluminum becomes significantly lighter. Think here, for example, of possible fuel savings through lighter aircraft....
The figures for Elk Creek presented some time ago are remarkable:
A recent study estimates the project's net present value (NPV) to be $3.07 billion. After taxes, the NPV is $2.3 billion. Annual cash flow is estimated at $438 million. The latest figures are a striking improvement on previous data. As recently as May last year, an NPV of around $1.1 billion and an annual cash flow of $178 million were assumed. Current market value of NioCorp: 134 million CAN dollars...
But that's not all: the United States currently has to import 100 percent of niobium. That could change with Elk Creek...
It goes without saying that shares of the Canadian company have been lying dormant in my portfolio for some time: Because I prefer to ride my bike, I'm happy when lighter cars emit fewer exhaust fumes into the air. Of course, the fuel cell drive, in which pure water comes out of the exhaust, is far more ecologically sensible than the classic combustion engine and whose development we are also closely following in the anticyclical stock market newsletter. In both cases, however, weight savings through lighter steel are important because less energy is required...
This is where André Tiedje, mentioned in the headline, comes into play.
Because we always come to very similar assessments despite completely different analysis methods, I asked André to take a closer look at NioCorp shares.
I can reveal that my colleague was really excited when he told me about his wave count. You can see the result in the following chart:
Our Elliott Wave expert is certain about one point, and I quote: “NioCorp will reach triple digits, for sure”. Specifically, André Tiedje assumes a price target in the range of 116 CAN dollars for our little raw material pearl. Closing price on Friday evening: 0.80 CAN dollars. If I have calculated correctly, an investment of 10,000 euros should, if successful, turn into around 1.4 million euros in a few years. This roughly corresponds to the performance of the legendary US index trader that André is responsible for.
But the striking thing is that, from a fundamental perspective, one can arrive at very similar results and price targets. This becomes particularly understandable when you look at the following statements on the subject of scandium on the NioCorp website . The facts are extraordinary.
In addition, after five years of a commodity market slump and against the background of the monetary system problems, it is time for a broad-based change of tide in the sector, according to the motto: Flight into real assets. And then everything is possible.
This leads us to our final note: Because André Tiedje and I always enjoy combining our strategies with each other, we are currently in the process of developing a concept for collaboration. Maybe together we can uncover more pearls like this little NioCorp.
You can be excited...

I'm not aware of any EXIM requirements to be listed anywhere on any exchange or even be a public company, and NioCorp was on OTC when they received the LOI (and obviously when they applied for the LOI). Up until 8/31/2023, EXIM did not lend to U.S. companies under MMIA.. That first domestic loan went to Aquatech, a private company. Prior to domestic loans becoming available, it is possible many foreign recipients did not trade on a U.S. exchange. EXIM's rules for project eligibility for domestic companies are laid out and make no mention of public/private status or exchange listings. The application is the same for foreign and domestic companies.

https://img.exim.gov/s3fs-public/forms/eib95-10all.pdf
I am also not aware of any EXIM requirement for a 3rd FS, especially given the LOI was based on the previous FS.
Just because I'm not aware of it doesn't mean it's not there, I could be wrong. The nice thing about gov't is that processes have to be fairly transparent and should be the same for all.

According to the web site, EXIM has received one comment so far on its Information Request on Financing Support for Critical Minerals Projects on the Federal Register. While there is a link to view the comment, it does not appear to be viewable. This is apparently not unusual, as not every comment is made publicly available to read according to the FAQ.

That's not the point. I don't use Covert products and likely never will. KG had good products and now they're MIA. The web presence is amateurish at best and now they specifically point you to a place that "plays a crucial role in facilitating the distribution of Kona Gold's products, ensuring wider accessibility to consumers across various markets" that doesn't even have KG listed as a partner. It's lame.

AI to spark 10-year Supercycle in Critical Minerals, The Oregon Group forecasts
CNW Group
Mon, Apr 22, 2024, 7:30 AM MDT2 min read
TORONTO, April 22, 2024 /CNW/ - The explosion of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is expected to trigger a 10-year critical mineral supercycle, according to a new report. The Oregon Group predicts the massive energy needs of new AI data centers will increase pressure on mineral supply chains already under strain to meet global net-zero targets.
The report examines key trends affecting the growth across the sector, including:
-nuclear energy and uranium
-renewable energy and battery metals, including cobalt, graphite, lithium, nickel, manganese, rare earths, fluorspar
-expanding electricity grids driving copper demand
-and tin, essential for soldering across the tech revolution
This growth in demand is driven by a potent combination of technology companies, consumer and business demand, and government support, all racing to maintain a global cutting edge.
The large tech companies are betting hundreds of billions on new data centers — Amazon plans to spend US$150 billion over the next 15 years on data centers — as they are already facing challenges to their ambitions of AI growth.
Years of underinvestment in new mines, concentrated supply and processing in high-risk regions, as well as rising demand for minerals to meet net-zero targets, means supply will struggle to keep pace with the potential AI demand that is only now starting to be appreciated.
The report highlights NVIDIA's soaring stock price, a proxy for investment in the AI revolution, as a signpost that the supercycle is already underway.
McKinsey forecasts generative AI has the potential to generate value equivalent to $2.6 trillion to $4.4 trillion in global corporate profits annually.
The combined incentives of significant corporate profits, technological advancements, environmental restrictions and consumer pressure, will overcome many of the obstacles to investment across the sector, even those hindering net-zero targets.
To learn more about the new critical mineral supercycle and key trends, you can access The Oregon Group's new report, entitled "Artificial Intelligence and the next Critical Mineral Supercycle" by visiting our dedicated website section for the market report.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. I’m honestly ok with the dips and see them as an opportunity until there’s something tangible to support and sustain an increase. When that happens, it should be significant, and it could be soon.
I’ve met the three of them and got the sense they truly believe in this project and that’s important to me as an investor. Met another CEO with somewhat similar circumstances at the time (toxic funding, reverse splits, uplist that didn’t go well despite tailwinds, but a great product and a dedicated team), and while it took a LONG time, that company is well on its way to big things. And big profits.
It’s a big nut to finance and get operational, but the timing is right. If NioCorp can be involved in the full cycle of life of these minerals, there is tremendous opportunity here.
I'm not the least bit intimidated or gun shy, trust me! Just don't have have a dog in this fight. I'm sure the same people will always find something else to bitch about forever, like, the dividend is too low!
1. Mark Smith/Niocorp promised things that didn't come to pass.
-Wasn't here, seems to be doing pretty well now.
2. There was a reverse stock split that impacted the share price.
-Yup, and knew it was coming when I first bought which is why I started small and waited.
3. The uplist was a grave mistake.
-I don't think it was, I don't care, it happens and what's done is done.
4. The stock is at all time lows.
-It won't be forever, I'll wait and keep buying in the mean time.
5. Niocorp doesn't produce anything.
-Well, no shite. Yet. Thank you, Captains Obvious
6. NioCorp resorted to dilutive financing.
-As do many other later successful companies trying to get going.
7. Everyone on the management team gets a salary!
-From what I've seen of what's happening, I don't think it's outrageous.
Recently, these things and others have consumed this board to the point of ridiculousness. While there's been a lot of news in the industry recently, there hasn't been a ton specifically relevant to NioCorp's situation so haven't been posting as frequently.
