This is a good technical analysis:

King, rather than TZA, why not short futures? The leverage is huge. S&P emini is $50 bucks per point per contract. I'm reading about the possibility of a double dip recession now. I already have a futures account with Tradestation.
Hi, Stranger
What makes you believe the market is going to continue this downslide, and for how long?
I guess I'm way behind. What cease and desist? This is with QMIN? I have forgotten what Harvey Westbrook is. I just know EC used to trade boat wax or something King used to joke about.
They need to really go after these scams. Just because people don't know any better until they learn the hard way doesn't make it right to scam people out of money. I think it's harder with QMIN because there's an actual mine and he files reports, or used to.
Heatwave today. We're going to 97 plus heat index higher. In the humid east, that's dangerous.
Yes I read that yesterday.
I suspect QMIN will get what is coming to it in a matter of time. The Cease and Desist was just the beginning.
Did you see that Eugene has brought Harvey Westbury back to life?
Finally they're starting to do something about this subpenny crap. The SEC shut down one of mine a couple of years ago, or sent to the gray sheets, rather, but I lost a goodly sum of money. But it is what they should be doing to put a stop to the crooks. It's pure crooked. But now they seem to be cracking down. Just need some arrests.

Did you see Harvey Come back to life?
Pretty much a one sided board over there. Keeping and eye on it.
Good to see ya still around Anvil. Fellow Hall members are sleeping this winter. I know you folks in the Northeast got pummeled with bad weather this year. We were spared for the most part here in most of the Mid Atlantic. But I've been swamped with backlog and am just now starting to see the light of day anyway.
Just got back from PDAC (Prospectors and Developers) convention in Toronto. This is the annual global conference for junior mining companies. Over 22K people attended.
In any event, all commodity stocks have skyrocketed. Optomism high. Even the dogs are getting a uplift. Was tough to figure out who, if anyone was undervalued. For mining stocks, TSX is the exchange.
May be working with some junior miners in the near future, could be some good opportunities. Not offering inside info, but just saying.
Hey kids, made it over here, the IBOX is dizzying after a few Johnnie Red's. Anyway, can't understand anyone investing in QMIN. Know that deal to buy Gwenco fell thru. Don't ask how.
I seriously see a Chapter 7 as gene is not raising enough money through stock sales to maintain the property. I think he will cut bait and go after a new O&G scam.
It never ends
I noticed there's a few new "bag holders" wondering what to do.
I noticed there's a few new "bag holders" wondering what to do.
LOL. Thats okay
There was a twitter pump that didn't last for long. Judging by the timing of the twitter pump Eugene put there tweets to rest.
No twitter can estimate the power of Mean Eugene's stock printing machine.
Damn! You sent that to me on February 5 -- three weeks ago.
That was the last time I logged on -- three weeks ago...
No, I haven't been keeping up. Do you have any updates?
Gee, some people live the life. lol
Sorry for the delayed response, I am on vacation.
Skiing in New Brunswick.
I cannot flip on the TSX. Any Canadian stocks that trade on the pinks are flipable(if flipable is a word)
ECC, do you mean you have to wait 30 days to flip the Canadian pinks? In other words, you can't day trade on the TSX either? Or you can, but must pay extra taxes on the TSX as well? Just curious. If I were to enter a TSX silver stock, it would be as an investment anyway.
ILVMNY,
Can you ask your broker to trade on the Canadian exchanges?
I only have to fill out a form to trade on the US exchanges. I play the pink sheets Canadian securities as well.
With Canadian stocks I am not allowed to flip, you either wait 30 days to repurchase or pay an extra cap gains tax, so I play the US listing.
By the way, many stocks on the TSX Venture exchange are just as bad and maybe worse than the otc and pinks in the US. We have our share or scams here.
The main TSX more safe, but of course with risk.

Now that silver prices have slipped a couple of bucks since the start of 2011, and even larger-cap legends like Silver Wheaton (NYSE: SLW) and Hecla Mining (NYSE: HL) have shed more than 15% in little more than a month, silver's rising star may be pausing in our solar system one last time before resuming its stellar ascent.
The first thing Fools may discover when they examine the silver star through a telescope is that it's surrounded by a galaxy of high-quality equity prospects that may be hard to reach through conventional means. For most investors without direct access to the Canadian exchanges, a concerted foray into silver will lead through an asteroid belt known as the Pink Sheets.
Frustratingly illiquid, easily manipulated, and decidedly off the radar of securities regulators, these (most-often) unsponsored ADRs are something of a black hole in the investment world that few seem interested in exploring. In order to access quality small-cap silver producers like Aurcana Corporation or ECU Silver, many will have to settle for a proxy to the Canadian-listed shares -- a proxy perhaps best described as digital scrip.
First Majestic Silver (NYSE: AG) recently jumped to the big board, and the stock's trading volume has increased visibly as a presumed consequence. As NYSE Euronext (NYSE: NYX) EVP Scott Cutler pointed out in First Majestic's press release: "[First Majestic] and its shareholders will benefit from the deep liquidity and global visibility offered to Canadian companies cross-listed on the NYSE". But you don't have to command a $1 billion-plus market cap to benefit from a cross-listing. I have observed small-cap silver names like Endeavour Silver (AMEX: EXK) and Alexco Resource (AMEX: AXU) drawing noticeably more attention from investors and media outlets alike, as compared with their non-U.S.-listed competitors.
Of course, I believe that both Endeavour Silver and Alexco Resources fully deserve the relative fanfare they've enjoyed on the merits of their laudable achievements. Alexco has executed beautifully on its transition to producer status, while Endeavour Silver has combined ceaseless organic production growth with an uncanny knack for locating fresh reserves.
To some extent, my own misgivings regarding the nature of unsponsored ADRs on the Pink Sheets are outweighed by the strength of my conviction regarding the growth potential of select companies in the space. I personally own multiple Pink Sheet holdings, but I would much prefer to hold the real McCoy. I encourage Fools who share my displeasure with these unsponsored proxy vehicles to join me in contacting your favorite Canadian resource companies that are not listed on a major U.S. stock exchange, and encourage them to fast-track such a listing.
Pedro,
Have you been keeping up to date with the BK. There has not been much mentioned as of late WRT this.
I have been discussing QMIN on another board. This poster has a nice summary of what is going on.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=59604351
The LOI, just another scheme IMO, that should go along with a fake China buyout and a fake NI 43-101.
Pumpers are pumping a mine that is not mining. Crazy. I wonder how much money EC really takes home a year from this get up. Truly amazing that one can lie and take so many people's money legally. It still baffles me.
He is getting close to the most R/S out there. I know of a few more. MSHA reports the mine as non-producing and hasn't been producing since early November.
Oddly enough he his files, late but each quarter he files. It may be an attempt to uplist to the better otc tier.
It appears the pumpers are thick right now. Eugene is getting some free advertising to dump his shares IMO.
That's our Mean Gene, the stock printing, machine. lol I bet he has the record for most reverse splits. If I had any extra time on my hands, I'd go check out the mine just to see if there is even any coal being mined. It's a lovely drive through West Virginia, so it would be worth it just for that scenic drive.
Does he still file reports or did he go to pinks?
LMFAO, Mean Gene did it again:
Kentucky Energy, Inc. Announces Reverse Stock Split

I haven't been day trading since November as the bull___ bomb refused to detonate...lol
I've actually gone in on KDKN as they have devoloped a nice accending triangle and I've been gobbling the dips.
That's the best plan for a day trader. lol I've been continuing to educate myself on day trading. It's a lot to fit in, because I always have a huge backlog of work that ties me up, but I'm getting more and more knowledgeable all the time.
I like Vectorvest's style of swing trading, but I want to day trade, so that's been my sole focus for over a year now.
I believe you use Scottrade as I do. I love Scottrade, but they don't offer e-mini S&P 500 futures or the TRIC or TRIN of the NYSE. I believe these are vital to fully work the strategy I've developed.
I'm looking at direct access brokers now, but each one has something I don't like about it. I don't know if there's another way I could receive these three quotes live without a broker that offers them. All the parts of my plan have to work. Getting there is proving to be a challenge.
Do you use an air card in case of a power outage or do you have a backup power supply? I think it would be good for getting out of a trade, but I think using it while receiving live feeds would be costly. Can't get a straight answer on that either. The supposed techs don't know anything. It's good to use both DSL and cable in case one goes down, but an air card would at least get you out if you don't have a backup power supply.
My whole thought is that this will push into mid first quarter (Feburary)
I've decided that I'll wait for the markets to tell me they are going to correct and not tell them that they should be.....
HE HE
Unless Scott Elite offers Trin, Tick, and e-mini. Offices are closed, so I am unable to find out. If not, I'm going to switch to a direct access broker. I believe you use ScottElite.
I guess I have to subscribe to get the e-mini futures unless I have a direct broker.
I also can't find the tick and trin of the NYSE on Scottrade. :(
Buckster, does Scottrade and other sites just not give you a chart of the S&P 500 e-mini futures? I have tried everything. I'm going to have to dig into some books unless you can help me. I've tried @esm9 and $ES and everything else with Scottrade and MSN. Please help!
My intuition says the market will climb a while longer, then a big correction. :)
The market just keeps defying the charts.
Hey, how have you been?
I'm working 40 hours and I can't do the picks anymore (in the daytime).
You had some great picks and I'm looking forward to your next update.
Yeah,
I hear you. Fear the power of the battleship on the Monopoly board.......lol
I looked back at all my old charts, and they look the same today...screaming sell and yet everything is still going up!
The market just keeps defying the charts.
Thanks ILVMNY, I hope Santa was good to you.
It just started snowing here however it is expected to change to rain along coastal Nova Scotia(40mm, near 2 inches after 6 inches of snow), New Brunswick is expected to get as much as 60cm (2 feet).
Merry Christmas, ECC. It looks like you may get the brunt of this storm. We're right on the line of either getting 2 to 4 inches or 4 to 6 inches. It's going to impact the coast line in Maryland. We're inland on the Chesapeake.
Merry Christmas and happy new year to all!
ECC
Wow, beautiful songs. It's cool to hear two of them I recognize from English sung in French. Such a poetic language. I love Christmas music, though I always find Christmas a bit stressful. lol Happy holiday!
I still laugh at that.
Here is my Christmas music for this year. Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I spend way too much money.
Here is some of the music I grew up with.(It is hard to find the original artists)
Ginette Reno was one of them, not much on the internet for her.
This song was my first french Christmas concert song. I hear this playing when I am visiting the US so you may have heard it before.
LMAO. That is still way too funny, ECC.

The HALL is a plain jane generic board where I post stocks based on a stocks heartbeat, a simplistic method I use. It's all based on finding a stock's bottom with an anticipated rise within a few days to a week or so. No hype necessary nor tracking of winners/losers nor fancy lines, triangles, zigzags, analysis, etc. Just the heartbeat. Stocks posted will be added/removed without notice and at my own resolve. CAUTION: Some of the picks posted may already be in play and past what I consider the buy in. Please refer to the postings to see or ask if that's the case. Also, for an easy understand training of the heartbeat, I have put up 2 sticky posts, 1 that explains the stock heartbeat and 1 that has an example. It ain't prefect but it has a high level of success. And remember, always take profit because profit is profit and will always keep you in the game. And finally, one last word of caution is to always remember that the overall market can and will void out any picks during times when the market is cycling downward.
Good luck!
