It's nice to see a rally get underway...
all these down days causing too much doom and gloom.
short term this looks like we are back in an uptrend, the key to whether or not this rally has legs will come if we get close to 1900 on the NAZ. A failure to break through there would signal a return to the prevailing downtrend, however a breakout could be the beginning of a nice rally.
Either way, waiting and nibbling here and there till things crystalize a bit.
At present I'm only long in DHB and a few select Oil & Gas or REIT plays. Only short in WAT, the rest is in cash.
good luck to all,
great idea and well described re ihub's function...You do seem like a person who can discuss politics in a non fanatical way and that's a good thing. Make no mistake.. I am a Canadian but I do love America and will always defend it. I also love US politics..very very good system (the best) and fun to watch.
The politics are parked.. now ima gonna go and poke the inmates for a while..lol
nothing wrong with being in opposition, it is the diversity of opinion that makes for progress that is of benefit to all.
I propose we shelve the politic for a bit, give it some time to marinate. After all this is a stock market website! I'm reluctant to refer to it as an Investment site, due to the decidedly predominant interest in speculative issues. I'd love to see, help develop, etc. more commentary on real investing and "big board" issues. It is my personal opinion that we are in for at least another two years of sideways to downward biased markets regardless of who wins in November.
Well, I owe mr moore about 2 bucks then, cuz I only bought into 25 % of the film and 0% into his motives.lol
GB's connections to the bin ladens and his manoevering to get that family on planes out of the US on the day after 911, when all other commercial flight was grounded, is disconcerting.
This is far more serious than any connections BC used or catered to..
Even if they are all innocent and osama was the only black sheep (subsequent bank record investigation shows this to be not so), the FBI did bring up some serious concerns. In any murder case, the immediate family is always told not to go anywhere till everyone is interviewed and things are sorted out. They are never put on a plane out of a country... but the enormous bin laden entourage were let go, with GB's help. this is indisputable.
.
By the way.. I am a huge clinton fan.. so we could not be any more diametrically opposed on that.
No argument concerning the oil relationship to our presence in Iraq.
As I said earlier, Saddam was on the verge of enhancing the sweetheart deals in place with China, Russia and France that would have resulted in the lifting of the sanctions and almost no Iraqi oil ending up in the US for the forseeable future. Would Saddam have used his new freedom and cash to build new WMD's? Is the Pope Catholic?
"were there any Democratic presidents that you do admire?? And if so, why??"
with the notible exception of Bill C, I have "admired" to one extent or another every president in office since I became old enough to be aware of the position and what it really means. The first presidency I can truly recall with an adult oriented mindset is Nixon. I thought he did fairly well aside from the tragic flaw that ruined his legacy. So many good things, but one really really bad thing.
Ford was a fish out of water but managed not to screw things up during his short tenure.
Carter was (is) a brilliant man with wonderful ideas. Unfortunately he was dealt a bad hand and had to spend too much time in crisis management which was not his strength.
Reagan... will they add him to Mt Rushmore? Time will only enhance his legacy.
The First George Bush - a man very similar to Carter, very intelligent, but crisis management was not his strong suit either.
Bill C. I wonder what "connections" Mr Moore would turn up if he turned his investigative eye at Slick Willie. Here was a president that had ample opportunity to "do something" to interfere with the terrorist organizations around the world. But aside from a few ineffective rocket launches... he seemed more concerned with how he "looked" than actually accomplishing anything. As much as I admire Reagan I despise this man (and I use that term rather loosely here) even more. An absolute disgrace.
I'll not go back historically beyond these few except to say that each President, Democrat or Republican performed admirably according to his gifts in the most difficult job in the world.
One other thing I would like to point out... the Democratic party of the Roosevelt era and before has little in common with the present day Democratic party. One can only hope that in another 75 years that Democratic party will have as little in common with the current party.
PS. And what would Mr. Moore have to say about copyright infringement! the Horror! :))
The first 30 minutes are what got my attention... the rest I found unnecessary and just a lot of editing to make GB look stupider than I think he is, so I didn't pay too much attention to it. But, before you make the assumption that the movie won't have an effect on the election.. you really should see the film. It is highly provocative.
US does not belong in Iraq and the reasons for being there are bogus.. there are no WMD... but Iraq is the 2nd largest oil reserve.. as opposed to North Korea.. who openly challenged the US by saying "yeah we got em.. so what?"
No oil... no interest.. the world is full of dictators worse than Saddam... but again.. no oil, no interest.
I do agree with the Afghany invasion, because they were directly involved in 911, and good ass-kicking was delivered. The sooner they nail Osama, the better.
just for fun.... were there any Democratic presidents that you do admire?? And if so, why??
PS: I wouldn't pay him any money to see the film either, but someone downloaded it off a news group, and gave me a copy.
Haven't seen the film, so I can't comment on it. Won't see it till I can do so for "free" as I refuse to put any money (however small or indirectly) in that man's pocket.
he has the freedom to make such films and present his view, I have the freedom to ignore him if I choose.
I disagree that he(through his film) will have a significant effect on the election. I also don't put much emphasis on the various "polls" showing everything from a slight Kerry lead to a dead heat. The only poll that means anything will be taken 11-02-04, we'll just have to wait and see.
One thing I will say, regardless of who is in the white house at any given time. That person has information that you nor I, nor any investigative reporter nor Hollywood film director may never know about. "We" may question (in the absence of that information) decisions made based on that information, But we must do so with the understanding that president must do what's best for the entire country (perhaps the world). It may become clear only in hindsight whether the decision was right or wrong. Look closely at the images of our presidents at the beginning of their terms and then again at the end. I have no doubts they have the most difficult job in the world. The current president faces challenges on a daily basis that would send lesser men to cower under a desk.
We got started on this because I C&P'd an article and added a decidedly anti-Kerry headline. Now I'll drop the other shoe so to speak.
That article spoke of a planned assassination attempt to influence/disrupt our election. No doubt many assume that the terrorist would attempt to assassinate GW. After all, if successful he would be eliminated as president. The terrorists would have what they want then. No more Bush.
However, chances of success are greatly reduced because our Secret Service and other law enforcement arms are on such a high alert regarding such a threat.
What I expect the terrorists to try is an "attempted" assassination. One that has little chance of success but will virtually assure the intended "victim" wins the election. That's right I expect Al-Queda to "attempt" to assassinate John Kerry.
Certainly, as a candidate for President his security is as tight as GW's, but a "failed" assassination attempt on Kerry would have the same effect as a successful attempt on GW.
I hope I'm wrong and I certainly could be.
One final note, obviously Al-Queda does not want another 4 years of GW. The question I ask is this... If GW is the wrong man in the white house, If he is doing things the wrong way, If he is hurting the US and the rest of the world so badly... why would Al-Queda wnat him out? Isn't his alleged ineffectiveness helping their cause? Isn't he setting them up to become what they really want (large and in charge)? Sure there are some short term hardships but what's a little hardship on the way to your ultimate goal?
Cold logic will tell you that the guy the bad guys want out is the guy you really want in there.
Just for fun... presume for a moment that Moore is correct, and that Bush *IS* really the guy Al-Queda wants in the white house... would anything be different?
And they wonder where conspiracy theorists get such wild ideas.
have a good one!
Glad to hear you are OK. Would have been tragic to lose you after you started becoming an active Ihubber again <g>.
congrats on surviving charley.. I had a look at some of the footage on CNN and it looked pretty scary.
As for the political discussion.. I just watched Moore's film fahrenheit 911 and it does raise many interesting questions about bush.. legitimate Q's that should be addressed.... I expect that those who do watch it, and are on the fence, will be swayed to vote "anyone but Bush"
I am not a Moore fan, especially after his performance at the Academy Awards, last year, but the film does raise some legitimate concerns. I am fully aware that all of his films are self serving, and I know he is not any friend of the republican party, but his questions regarding Bush's association with the bin laden ( pardon while I spit out the bad tatse the name alone leaves in my mouth) family, and his and their mutual associates, does bear looking into. There APPEARS to be some serious hypocrisy.
I think that this movie will be the main reason that Bush will be booted, by helping the undecided..decide... just an opinion , but time will tell
first of all...
Charley missed me by -->/ /<---- that much!
the eye of the storm was 15 miles east of me. But obviously I have power again and seem to have come through ok... many others here have not been so fortunate.
now to your post.
the most telling line "His background (acedemic performance, military? vagaries, (sp) etc.) is not what presidents are made of."
Is exactly what I was referring to previously. At this point in his campaign for a second term, many were questioning Regan's "qualifications" much the same as they do GW's today (ie "Does an aging Hollywood actor have any busiiness in the white house?). Regan's hardline policy towards the Soviet was very disconcerting to many people all over the globe. Their fear of a nuclear war being started by Reagan or the Soviet's launching a preemptive strike was very high.
In hindsight it turns out reagan was the correct choice and made the correct decisions for not only the US but the rest of the world as well.
I am not saying that GW qill turn out to be another Ronald Reagan. I merely point out that there are similarities between their campaigns for a second term.
SInce you brought up Bill C. and Economic policy...
I'd like to share a little something you and others might find interesting.
The US Economy does not respond to attempts to change it's direction rapidly. Many economics courses site a significant lag between the actions of a government ( raising or lowering taxes for example ) and the US economy strengthening or weakening. Most speak of a period of 8-10 years.
If you look back through recent history you can begin to see the pattern emerge.
Nixon took the US off the Gold Standardin '71, the inflationary aspect of that action reared it's head in '78-9
Reagan's tax cuts and spending boom in the early '80's were the trigger for the growth and boom martkets of the '90's
The first Bush's tax increase and Bill C's subsequent tax increase in '92 showed up as the end of the bull market in 2001 and our current economic status.
IF this theory continues to hold true, the next bull market and strong US economy should begin to show up anywhere from late 2007 through 2010.
Unfortunately most people are unaware of these economic relationships and blame/reward the sitting president accordingly.
If you care to go back a little further, look at the economic policies imposed around the world at the end of WWI. Just in case anyone reading this is historically impaired... WWI ended in November 1919, one of the penalites imposed on Germany was a near total shutdown of it's industrial complex. At the time Germany was an industrial "superpower". 10 years later the entire world was mired in "the Great Depression".
It's eerie how this 8-10 year cause/effect lag fits.
You also site "I doubt that he can think on a global level at all."
Personally, with the complexity of global relations in the modern era, I doubt any one person can adequately grasp it all. One of the things that made Reagan so good was he knew his limitations and surrounded himself wtih people that understood his mission and had the expertise in the fields he needed to manage in order to accomplish his objectives.
I personally feel GW has done/ is doing the same thing. So far I don't see Kerry surrounding himself with the right kind of people, he seems to be choosing based on "electability" rather than a particular skill.
Enough for now, I will have more later.
Take care and be well.
The difference between Reagan and Bush, in my opinion, is astronomical..while I consider ol' Ronnie to be one of the best presidents ever, in my 60 years, I think Bush is an abomination. He can't think on his feet, english seems like a challenge, his comunicative skills are sorely lacking (I especially like the time he started the old "fool me once..." adage and got completely lost)and I doubt that he can think on a global level at all. His background (acedemic performance, military? vagaries, (sp) etc.) is not what presidents are made of. His spending and tax initiatives are insane to all except the corporations which profit greatly. I'll take Bill C.'s economics anytime over GB's.
<VBG>
actually most of my family were raised as democrats and switched to republicans in the late 60's and 70's. Personally I do try to look beyond the partisan politics and get the best "man" for the job. True, that I have been voting mostly repulican for the last 25 years, can I help it if the democrats can't present a candidate I feel can do the job?
I also understand how own politics affect the world stage. Unfortunately, I am afraid our left (liberal) biased media skews things far too often and creates more problems than our leaders actual actions create. Sadly, CNN is one of the worst offenders, Most of my friends and associates have refused to watch CNN (for various reasons) since the Gulf war. Along with the three major networks CNN is soooooo left oriented that I hardly watch the national news at all anymore.
I've found I get a much more "all sides" look by reading several News sources from around the world, thanks to the internet.
BTW, no one much wanted Regan to win a second term either, for many of the same reasons. Looking back I think that turned out pretty well.
as long as we both agree that people who vote democrat don't think for themselves but republicans do, we should get along fine.. lol
In all seriousness, I am just an observer from another country. Since US policy and actions often affects other nations, we outsiders are concerned about how US politics goes. I am a news hound who watches CNN as a steady diet and love watching the political manoeverings of both parties. While I have always thought that, regardless of who's in power, the US system of government is better than any other system, including Canada's, it never fails to amaze me that people blindly vote the party (Dem or Rep) and not the man in most cases. Arnold's victory in Khalifournia notwithstanding. BTW... Schwartzenegger is German for "Black farmer".. whoda thunk it.
I will admit that I'm in step with the majority of the world who thinks Bush is not the man for this job, to put it as politely as I can. I see that CNN has Kerry at 47% and Bush at 41% in florida.... that will be an interesting state to watch come election time.
Now, if the dems can just win Tennessee......
I much prefer Discussion to arguments.
and yes I am a Bush supporter. Obviously you feel otherwise and that's OK. I'm not here to try and change your mind (though if you do I'll be happy to welcome you to the group of folks that think for themselves :) ).
I guess we'll find out 11/2 who's "right"... hehehe
either way one of us wil be able to say "I didn't vote for him!"
Bush has his faults, but- in these troubled times, do you really want to follow a different path?
I'll have to dig around a bit, but a while back I got an email about profiling that may answer this.
I'm a military man, and I think we have headed in the right direction. Look at the cowardly actions of these terrorists- they give no thought to human rights, let alone life. If you only understood what good we have done. Of course the liberal media will not display that. Open your eyes- more than what is reported is happening. Freedom is ringing in other counrties, as it did in ours over 200 years ago.
Oh yea- France was the one that helped us win our freedom <g>.
you are, no doubt, a Bush supporter..lol
like all political arguments, we all can profer incidental scenarios to bolster almost any argument. I guess that's why religious and political debates can and will go on forever.
Ergo, in closing, as long as everyone agrees with all of my points of view.. the world will be a better place,......
for me!!
again...
no arguement that there are other bad dictators that need removing. However, Saddam controlled the second largest deposit of oil in the world... and was making sweetheart deals with China, Russia and France (imagine that) that would have seriously limited US ability to obtain the oil needed as well as garnering Saddam support for lifting the sanctions so he could resume his agenda.
You may consider me to be in the minority, but I'd rather have Bush in the White House. Kerry's plan to wage a more "sensitive" war reminds me of Jocelyn Elders plan for "safer" bullets.
no doubt the caves were better when he had a blanket for pillows instead of rocks, .
This does not detract from the fact that at least half the US hates Bush, and I have yet to see anyone else in the world support his phony war in Iraq. If his objective is to stamp out ruthless dictators he may want to start with some non-oil producing countries, many of whom have far worse leaders than saddam ever was..
My point really is that starting a post with "Al-Queda backs Kerry's Campaign for President" is a cheap shot, and not particularly revealing if looked at in the big picture.
weeeeellllll,
I guess I'm in disagreement with "Most of the rest of the world and more than half of the US"
As for the headline... I believe Kerry would qualify as "anybody".
The question I'd ask is this. Why is Al-Queda so strongly opposed to Bush?
Could it be that his actions, however poorly recieved they might be by so many (as you indicate), are actually affecting Al-Queda's ability to act as they wish?
If I were Osama I'd be trying to get him out too, after all I'm sure he had much nicer caves in Afganistan.
"Anybody but Bush"is also the sentiment of Most of the rest of the world and more than half of the US... so what is the point of that headline?? Typical republican spin, in my opinion..and a typical republican low blow
Al-Qaeda backs Kerry's Campaign for President.
Al-Qaeda planning major assassination to disrupt US vote
Wed Aug 11,11:18 AM ET
WASHINGTON (AFP) - Al-Qaeda is reportedly planning a high-level assassination against a US or foreign leader to disrupt the US presidential election, that will be set in motion by a new tape from its leader Osama bin Laden (news - web sites).
Quoting from unnamed US intelligence officials, The Washington Times said besides the United States, two possible places where the assassination would take place are Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
The assassination would signal the launch of more terrorist attacks involving "multiple targets in multiple venues" across the United States, the officials said.
They said the "very detailed" plans were found on a laptop computer of suspected Al-Qaeda computer expert Naeem Noor Khan, arrested in Pakistan last month.
"The goal of the next attack is twofold: to damage the US economy and to undermine the US election," an intelligence official said, referring to the November 2 presidential election pitting Republican President George W. Bush (news - web sites) and Democrat John Kerry (news - web sites).
"The view of Al-Qaeda is 'anybody but Bush,'" said the official.
The officials said the likely trigger for Al-Qaeda's new terrorist campaign would be a new video and audio message from bin Laden, which they expected to surface soon.
"The message likely will be the signal for the attack to be launched," one official said.
In times like these,
I am reminded on an old adage about the market being wary of uncertainty.
And there is plenty of uncertainty to go around right now!
Presidential elections - Kerry and Bush neck and neck, no likely predictor of the outcome until November... and Don't be surprised if we have a repeat of the post November 2000 quagmire.
Oil Prices - technically in uncharted territory. We've just seen a breakout to a new high. Price could go higher, begin a new trading range or breakdown to lower levels.
Terrorist threats - we know "they" will do "something". The quest is what and when. Remember that "they" do understand the value of an attack days before an election (IE: SPAIN).
The economy - strengthening? or weakening? and can we even trust the numbers anymore?
Interest Rates - going up? or staying put so as not to strangle the strength in the economy too soon?
It's very difficult to predict a major rally with all these uncertainties. The markets are currently mired in a down trend, therefore I would tend to flow with the prevailing winds so to speak. I suspect any rallies will be short lived and followed by new lower lows as we have already seen several times this year.
IMHO, obviously the election will be resolved in early November (with a small chance of it being prolonged into December). I also suspect that with the passing of the election the terrorist threat level will stabilize to pre election levels.
Despite the weal jobs report, it does appear the economy is getting stronger and interest rates have been too low for too long (though they won't rise as far or as fast as some may think).
I'm still holding that before the election we will see lows of DJIA 9000, S&P500 955 and the NAZ at 1500. We may see a rally or two in that span and it is possible that those predictions may prove too high or too low, as always the market will decide.
Good Fortune to all,
Closed out APOL today for a nice profit. It held up well in the face of todays downturn so I took my profits and will seek new opportunities for that money next week
The Power of a Market Trend...
Record Earnings, Beat Estimates by a healthy margin, company raises guidance...
but...
In a down market (at least short term) on a day when the market news is not "good"...
This company is down 10% on heavy volume.
Glad I was expecting this and traded accordingly.

!COOL! have a great weekend BOP! Again, Nice to see you back.
Of course you may ask!
(hehe)
Primarily as I have always been, my business is a multi-headed monster.
Through good times and bad I have always maintained my Fire Protection Systems Design business.
Because it costs so little to keep afloat and has been profitable from it's second month of existence, I keep my Internet Services business (Web Hosting, Internet Access, etc.) doing it's thing. It even made money while I was away, imagine that.
And my favorite, and as far as this venue is concerned, most relevant business, Stock Market Speculation. It amazes me why more people don't approach the Market in the same way they would approach buying a franchise or exisitng business.
time for me to run, BUt I'll be back again tomorrow or Monday.
Ciao,
LOL, I hear that BOP. I wish him well. I just didn't like the dirty shot that was taken at him by somebody he used to profess respect for even though I never did. Some people just have no scruples what so ever in their quest for fame. So enough of this already my Friend. What kind of business are you into at this time if I may ask?
I spoke with Gary on the phone a few months back, but haven't heard from him since.
I understand about "defiling", If I had a nickle for every time I have been spoken ill about... I probably would be on a Carribbean beach and not sitting at a computer!
Glad to hear that BOP. I will take a look at those just for grins and I wish you luck on them. Do you ever hear from Gary? I PMed him on SI awhile back but he never answered me. Somebody took a dirty shot at him and I wanted him to at least see who was defiling his name.
Glad to hear that Blue. I am doing much better of late with both business and the market. I did have to take about 18 months off due to personal matters, but now that I am attending to business once again, things seem to be returning to their rightful direction.
I no longer play the pennies, but what I am working with seems to be effective. Currently I have open positions in APOL, DHB and WAT in my "trading" account.
Every thing is great here BOP. Just trying to enjoy a little semi-retirement and play a few very cheap stocks. Other than that I take rides on my V-Twin and keep track of a few message boards. My people mark of you alerted me to your return. I hope all is well in your household and with business.
Howdy yourself my old friend!
Much has transpired since last I trod these halls... not all of it good. But all that is past and hopefully things will turn out for the better in the days ahead.
I trust you and yours are well and happiness reigns in your household.
Worry not about the double. Accidents happen:)
WAASSSSSSUUUUPPPPPP BOP?? Where have you been? Good to see you back.
WAASSSSSSUUUUPPPPPP BOP?? Where have you been? Good to see you back.
Ahem...
I have returned.
After dusting the place and removing a few of the cobwebs(have to leave a few for atmosphere!), I open with a request for thoughts from whoever so chooses to respond on the following issues.
APOL
DHB
WAT
Looking forward to hearing from the fine folks here at the HUB.
Oh Great Apepi! I love the artful representation of thy mystical world of Tiamat.

Friends,
I apologize for being away so long, I've been extremely busy with the Logon Florida business. My performance has been such that I am now developing the ISP service for the entire Eastern Seaboard. What I am hoping that that I can get you folks to help me out a little bit. I have 9 openings for State Level Sales Managers, If you know of someone living on the Eastern Seaboard that is interested in a real job (not MLM, no cost to the applicant), send me a PM and I'll forward you an email for them to contact me.
The people I need must have a solid background in working with computers and office software and a very strong sales management background. The pay is commission based. I expect these folks to perform at a level that will provide them with a six figure annual income.
Oh and they will have to be able to work with me! <g>
I appreciate your help.

What is globalization?
Below is probably the best
example on the definition of globalization.
Question : What is the height of globalization?
Answer : Princess Diana's death
Question : How come?
Answer :
An English princess with an
Egyptian boyfriend crashes in a
French tunnel, driving a
German car with a
Dutch engine, driven by a
Belgian who was high on
Scottish whiskey, followed closely by
Italian Paparazzi, on
Japanese motorcycles, treated by an
American doctor, using
Brazilian medicines!
And this is sent to you by a
Filipino, using Bill Gates' technology which he got from the
Japanese. And you are probably reading this on
one of the IBM clones that use
Philippine-made chips, and
Korean made monitors,assembled by
Bangladeshi workers in a
Singapore plant, transported by lorries driven by
Indians, hijacked by
Indonesians and finally sold to you by a Chinese!
That's Globalization!!!

In light of your comments I have decided to introduce a new policy.
It's called the Monty Python Argument Method.
In your case the proper response is...
"I'm not allowed to argue unless you've PAID!"

Why is that a breach of trust? Maybe his reasons for leaving a post stand are different. Maybe he wanted to leave it up so that people like you can reference it to show what kind of person I really am. Just like he let your libelous posts about me stand and just like he let your veiled threats to mmmary stand.
By leaving the post up, it allows you to link to the post whenever we have a conflict so that you can show what a moral reprobate I am. And in turn, I can link to your posts that demonstrate what kind of person you are.
I can see that you disagree with the decision, but it really doesn't seem to be a violation of "trust" on Matt's part. Rather, I see it as a disagreement on policy.
what role did Matt have in the March tete-a-tete?
That of an admin failing to enforce the TOS in a timely manner.
Did you have some secret deal to oust me?
No secret deal. No request that you be removed. Only that your posts containing the bestiality references be removed per the TOS.

I also thought the offer was superior. However, the backing out lacked class. There was an alternative, you could have "run it by" Fred let him grant "approval" or not. then you wouldn't have been stepping on his toes and you wouldn't have looked like you do now.
I believe you made the offer because you could see that Fred and Joe weren't on the same page (I think Fred is using a different book) and (rightfully so) sought a solution. You suggestion was elegant and put all of the responsibility where it should have been, on Joe.
Additionally, the "Old Flame Warriors" bit doesn't sit well with me. It reeks of a hidden agenda. One that does not bode well for one old Bird. Given your misguided actions as described above, "trusting" you will prove difficult.
As with anyone I've always given trust and respect until they demonstrate that I should not do so. This is the second occasion (March, JXM) in which you have betrayed my trust.
Once, it's a Mistake. Mistakes can be corrected.
Twice, it's a Problem. Problems must be fixed.
Three times, It's a Habit. Habits will be broken.
My trust can be earned once lost. But don't try and make a Habit of breaking faith with me.

Well, I'm always open to criticism, so what specifically?
I assume your biggest beef is probably the offering/withdrawl of the deal? If so, i agree. Was very slimy and not very cool of me.
I personally thought the offer was a great deal, but then realized I was stepping on toes, so I pulled out.
I could have deleted the entire exchange, but I left it out there. How's that for not abusing the deletion feature? :)
Both of you.
Fred's "logic" I've always found suspect. But frankly I was astounded by your actions on the Jail thread.

It is the lack of logic displayed recently that perplexes me.

Are you getting upset over Fred taking a shot at the jail gig? That seems to be what started all this....
Or are your upset with his logic? Mine? What is it?
Just curious.
