§PHLI
Me and my brother are doing extensive research here. Looking into the facts and details.
are you still following PHLI
did you ever buy into this?
do you still trade this stock
I was told about this stock today. Why is it so low and where is everyone? lol
I just bought some so I'll post my results.
The body glove surge Energy shots are available online. Give them a shot and if you like them the company could be a good investment. Its a penny stock so there is lots of risk.
100k in this deal is it safe
I am interested in your thoughts i want in is it a good stock at .16

More news or a spin off recent news; however, there is a better picture of the shots.

Yep. Another 62k have been purchased. Looking good. I would think more news will come out once the initial production is completed. Bottle looks good and the ingredients are nothing like anything on the market now.
Body Glove Surge is now at GNC. And no news from the company. I hope the BOD will change out leadership. This company has great products, but not great management.
Phli is not currently in GNC and Vitamin Shoppe though I think that 2nd Surge will make it to GNC at some point. Phli is very prompt with its 10Q but that report won't be issued until late July/early August.
Between now and then there should be a couple of PRs, the Company is no longer pathologically shy. I think the key is that the ceo is running a tight ship and paying attention to the stock, so whatever the PRs will be about I think the odds are very good that the news will not be negative. So downside risk is low and upside is good but not spectacular short term.
Well im loving the share structure and the products I will have to try out..Are they still in GNC or any big chain health food store or vitamin shop? I will have to do more DD as the share structure is what captured my attention..It is always good to have a knowledgeable shareholder who is willing to buy and hold...I believe if all is well with the company they will probably like to update shareholders sometime soon being that this is the summer and probably their biggest earnings season...
right now I don't think so, but have enough shares to keep track of what Phli is doing
I have been in Phli forever, going back four years or so when it did a deal with Cadbury, selling it the rights to Accelerade in liquid form. That sent the stock rocketing up from pennies to $3 at one point. Then the marketing head in the U.S. for Cadbury decided he wanted to be an entrepreneur and was hired by Phli. A dynamic Englishman, he just about killed the Company by totally mishandling the marketing of new appetite control products, all of which were very very good but when the products were sold to GNC and Vitamin Shoppe there was no accompanying explanation of how the products worked (by stimulating a peptide CCK that tells the brain you are full, without being actually full). Nothing on the labels.
He also drove the founder and inventor of the products away, and the result was near bankruptcy. The new ceo brought back the founder so Company now has new products, like 2nd Surge.
When stock hit the toilet at between seven and ten cents in 2010 I bought enough to make up for previous losses and still hold a substantial position.
Trading is sporadic. Like most micros it reacts to news, one way or the other and in between it drifts. The stock was solidly in the .30s and then one of the old mgt team dumped 500K in two weeks with predictable results. No reason other than he needed the money for a new venture. Stock is stable where it is now.
What Phli needs desperately is an internet marketing guru and if they can get a good one then business could really pick up with a nice effect on the stock. Doesn't take that much with a lean operation and 20M O/S.
Appreciate your interest.
thank you very much for the informative reply..You seem to be very in tune with the company. Are you interested in becoming the mod here? seems you would be perfect.
How long have you been in PHLI? does it trade in spurts, because now volume is pretty dry..Thats is my only concern as fundamentals and technicals are very attractive..
I would suggest that you email thart@pacifichealthlabs.com and ask for a sample pack to be sent to you. If you want to do that, let me know and I will email the Company to send to AKA 'mrbizzard'. Also, the last 10Q is informative and I expect a small profit in Q2.
Phli is focused entirely on its core market of athletes and has introduced two new products, 2nd Surge and Accel Recover Bar. I use 2nd Surge regularly before working out and it is a nice pick me up w/o crazy ingredients. The Recover bar is good, but I don't need "recovery" the way I work out.
I have met the ceo and he is very solid, and made his bones shaping the marketing for Dr. Atkins. He and several members of the board recently put in $1M at 25 cents per share plus warrants. About 20M O/S fully diluted and a tax loss carry forward of about $17M if I remember correctly.
Good website and market cap is low all things considered.
Message board on Yahoo has a few regular posters, worth a look and not much more.
Let me know if you have specific questions.
needs an update on current status
more DD needed
correction: there is still a message board on Yahoo but only under the symbol Phli.ob. To get the PRS you have to use the symbol Phli.pk.
the message board on Yahoo which had been fairly active recently has been taken down by Yahoo, I guess for the same reason the symbol on Yahoo for Phli is no longer Phli.ob but Phli.pk. Both moves are kind of annoying. First, the symbol suggests that Phli is no longer a fully reporting comany, which of course it is. Second, the message board was taken down so suddenly that there was no time to try to activate this board in time for a migration.
check out the Feb 22 PR for the marketing plans. Within a month from now it should be possible to try the 2nd Surge and the Accel Recover bar. I have to bear in mind that I really liked the Forze bars and drinks, and the marketing unfortunately was a disaster. This time around the new products are within the sports nutrition niche that Phli has carved out for itself with Accelerade and Endurox. And the ceo, though not as dashing as the last one, has his feet on the ground and if he can do what he did for Dr. Atkins the stock will fly. Nice O/S so anything that hits the bottom line is going to show.
Company remains fully reporting, and is beginning its active season - - most of its sales occur Q2 and Q3.
phli is no longer on OTCBB, it has moved to the OTCQB. Because of the fees charged market makers for each stock listed on the OTCBB there has been a steady migration of micro caps to the OTCQB
the growth plan is based on creating awareness and availability for the Forze brand of appetite control products, that are first being publicized through sponsorship of the Rock 'n' Roll Marathons as its official bar, and sold through specialty sports stores and many GNC and Vitamin Shoppes.
the web sites for PHLI and ForzeGPS are pretty complete so I would suggest you scan them.
the Company's base business is the Accelerade and Endurox sports drinks.
I got interested in PHLI because I used its diet drink then called Satiatrim. At 50 calories and good tasting when cold it worked very well as an appetite control tool due to its formula that stimulates CCK. The new ceo Jason Ash is a highly regarded marketing guy who has completely changed the structure of the Company by reducing G & A, hiring two hot shots from Atkins, and creating new products like the nutrition bars that also are designed to control appetite.
When the Company presented recently at the AMI conference, what attracted attention was its $4M market cap, $900K in the bank, no debt, and a lot of energetic plans for growth.
If you look over the recent PRs you can get an idea of the growth plan, and if you have any questions then I'll try to answer them. One suggestion would be for you to try the products, and I would recommend the chocolate drink and the chocolate decadence and cranberry nut bars. Another idea: go to the Rock "n" Roll website and see the marathons that Forze will be sponsoring this year and next. Each marathon is preceded by a health and fitness expo at which Forze is a featured exhibitor.
Someone help me out here what is the long term strategy for growing the value here???
8K below - -sale of stock to ceo and head of marketing - - things must be going well for them to sink in $150K but the key for me is the timing - - Q2 will be reported in August
On June 25, 2009, PacificHealth Laboratories, Inc. (the “Company”) sold an aggregate of 535,714 shares of its common stock to an executive officer and one other member of its management team, for a price of $0.28 per share. The two individuals were Jason Ash, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, and Fred Duffner.

PHLI is a sports nutrition company that creates and markets nutrition products for exercisers and athletes seeking to improve their health and performance. Products include ENDUROX EXCEL, a dietary supplement, ENDUROX R4, a recovery drink, ACCELERADE, a sports drink, ACCEL GEL, an energy gel - - and the recently launched ForzeGPS, the first scientifically formulated appetite control tools created specifically for athletes. ForzeGPS products consist of bars in two flavors, chocolate peanut butter and cranberry nut; and RTDs in vanilla and chocolate. The RTDs are 50 calories for the chocolate with one carb, and 45 calories for the vanilla with no carbs. The bars are 160 calories, and like the RTDs contain a patented blend of healthy fats, protein and calcium that stimulate the bodiy's production of the peptide CCK.(Cholecystokinin) which triggers a sense of not being hungry without feeling full. There is a wealth of excellent scientific information at forzegps.com.
PHLI currently sells its products online and through over 8,000 specialty sports and bike stores, though not all products are sold at all the stores.
CEO Jason Ash was the general manager of Cadbury's sports, energy and water business before becoming CEO of PHLI. A former pro rugby player and current triathlete, the 34 year old CEO was recently profiled as the "Iron Man of Marketing" in the May 2, 2009 editions of Adweek and Brandweek.

What to watch for: PHLI is a sponsor for the next two years of the Rock n Roll marathons. The first was held in San Diego on May 31, 2009, and over 50,000 consumers sampled the ForzeGPS bars. The next event is a half and full marathon in Seattle on June 29. There is a complete list of this year's races below. The ForzeGPS bars will be given out to the 25,000 runners who have regisered for the Seattle marathon, and the entire line of ForzeGPS and PHLI products will be available for sample and sale at the pre-race health and fitness expo which are held for two days prior to the race and on the day of the marathn. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/FORZE-GPS-Named-Official-Bar-bw-15198631.html?.v=1
Company Positives: The ForzeGPS RTDs are a no-brainer from a calorie and carb content point of view, work very effectively to control appetite, taste good, and are beautifully packaged. The ForzeGPS bars are truly delicious, have an energy boost effect, and also control appetite but are not as quick acting as the RTDs. Another positive is the Company's existing sales to over 8,000 sports specialty stores and bike shops, of which about 10% have racks specifically for some of PHLI's products. There is also an attractive website for online sales. Most important, the Company now has an aggressive sales oriented CEO who has a record of success, and who has assembled a talented team of Atkins alumni..
Company Negatives: If the sponsorship of the Rock n Roll races works, and there is no better way to market new food and drink products than to get people to try them, then PHLI has enormous upside. If it doesn't, with only $800K to start Q2 and a burn rate of about $100K per month, unless Forze sales kick in, the Company will have to do a raise. Another negative is that the Board needs strengthening. Biggest negative, and one common to many bb companies, is that if anything happens to the CEO that would be very bearish.
Stock Positives: low O/S; market cap around $5M; $7M in annual sales pre-ForzeGPS; $15M tax loss carry forward.
Stock Negatives: low trading volume, negative EPS
