The new administration is no friend of cannabis imo. I cannot understand why the industry prefers state by state medical over full national legalization. It effectively breaks the market up into 50 little countries and the largest market is limited to 34 million people. That is why I am sticking to Canadian names and avoiding the US all together at the moment
I agree. Maybe we'll get some results from the new administration? When we do, watch out!
I saw an incredible interview that was removed immediately. Sadly there are a lot of shady dealings in cannabis and in the startup world. We are subject to the whims of the market. This industry is not for the faint of heart but when any one of my picks does what I want it to I am a happy camper :)
Tons of reasons they are at these numbers. The US is fumbling cannabis while the world moves ahead on it. Institutions (US) are unable to invest in any plant touching company and because of the inconsistent messaging. Both Trump & Biden made noises about legalizing while campaigning and did nothing in their 4 years in office. That leaves the industry to be built by retail investors most of whom do not understand the opportunity. They put in a dollar and expect it to “moon” in a week. This will moon but it takes a long time to be an overnight success :). Good luck all! I think this is a gem
Been FOREVER since we've gotten any news. Wonder what's going on? Still feel this is an excellent buyout candidate with a current market cap of only 8.6 M
Likewise. Should be solid as there no reason for us to be at these numbers
Yes, it's good to see green for a change. I've been averaging down since .20 when I thought this had great opportunity then. Now that things are turning around (short of any huge lawsuits, more governmental regulations (strangulations) or some employee embezzling scandal, we should be golden going forward.
In regards to US legalization, I firmly believe it's NOT public opinion that's the problem, but rather too many Politicians pocketing too much Cartel money to look the other way. Same for Canada. Although it's technically legal there, the Government seems to be going out of their way in regulating and obscenely taxing the legal market out of existence. We shall see.
I'm thankfully up on my Canadian shares right now, as it has climbed since year end results were released.
Agree though, dangerously undervalued, holds second most patents in NA for oil distillation. If marijuana ever becomes legal in the US this will be a major supplier for other companies
Stock is Selling for Less Than Value.
This is absolutely the most undervalued, unknown and overlooked Cannabis Stock anywhere. We are going places!!! Check out the latest Press Release below.

Looks like they're being proactive in the event of a possible hostile takeover, which may or may not bode well for investors. We shall see. Did anyone hear receive notification of this Annual Board Meeting? I did not.

So legalization fully a thing in Canada now five years, I suppose the biggest hurdle is the US and grey market distribution.
Hopefully legalization comes to the US sooner than later, as we have the second most patents in the country(IIRC).
Still only good things on the horizon whether or not we see the US come on board.

Up Almost 100% So Far This Month!!!
Nextleaf has been on fire this week on NO news! Wow!!! I still stand by my belief that we are going places, as in up, up, up!!! Can't wait to read the next Press Release!
Only 17 Followers Here?
This must be one of the absolutely best kept secrets in the Cannabis Sector. Anyone else care to share their thoughts?
Pending News Release in the Works?
Nexteaf has consistently held Press Releases almost every month for a very long time. It's actually unusual when they don't. We haven't received any updates since March 2nd. I'm thinking something MAJOR is brewing. Just a hunch. Let's face it, our day is coming. At what point do you have so many competitive Patents and cutting edge Tech that you are not noticed as a potential threat to the Big Players and the only logical solution is to be bought out?
Whoa, up 20% this morning!
Up 20% on only 600 shares traded. Looks like shares are being held tightly now. I'm thinking sooner or later this is going to end up as a buyout from one of the Big Players. It only makes sense. The technology and Patents here are unrivalled. We've got to worth at least a Billion $.
Up ANOTHER 55% today. Whoa!!!!
Someone in the know knows that something big is in the works.
Up 24% today! Something in the works?
Huge volume with no news. Someone knows something (like us !). Good times ahead, I can feel it !!!
You're welcome
Good to know. There's not a lot of clarity for this industry so it's go to be something like blind faith at this point
Paul Pedersen is the CEO of Nextleaf Solutions and based on my calculations owns a little more than 5% of the outstanding shares. Even at these prices that comes to $250K. He definitely has a real financial stake in the company's future success. A very positive sign. I'll continue to buy, although the price may continue to drop to as low as .015 before bottoming out, which would put us at a ridiculously low valuation of $2.1 Mil. We shall see.
Thanks for sharing that info.
I've been toying with getting back in. I need to take a deeper dive on the financials.
The last posted insider buy was April 3rd, 2022 by Erik Paul Pedersen - 20,000 shares at .12 ($2400.) He owns a total of 7.6 million shares.
Hmm, been six months since the last post. Thought I'd check in and see who else might be with me and holding onto the dream? Company valuation is now down to $5M. Certainly the real estate, machinery and patents have to be worth more than that. Am I missing something here? I keep adding as it keeps dropping. Started out at .20 and now averaged down to .07 and still adding.
I'm well aware most companies on these exchanges never go anywhere and I also know your not supposed to fall in love with the company, but in my 20+ years of dabbling in the market, this one has all the signs of actually making it big (IMO), either on their own or through an acquisition. I've seen so many casualties along the way of folks claiming and wishing that the company they had stock in was going to make them millionaires or even a bazillionaires, only to see their dreams shattered. That said, last year was profitable (I believe the first) which says a lot! The key here (as with any company) is to be profitable, increasing market share and be debt free. So far it looks like we've got two out of three covered. I'm really, really hoping that management can resist the urge to dilute, now that we've gotten to where we are, and put their focus on profitability (sell, sell, sell).
By the way, does anyone know if anyone in management has been investing in the company using their own funds, other than the stock they've been awarding themselves? That would be an encouraging sign, (in my opinion), but I haven't seen anything in their filings to indicate they have. Maybe I missed it?
I'd sure appreciate some input if anyone else sees things differently(or the same). Just chime in and let's have a discussion.
I am still an investor as I believe in the Nextleaf team - CEO Paul Pedersen is often on LinekIn - love their oil model and value their many patents for down the road. It is massively overlooked for now but I believe Nextleaf will have its day, and so I add to my investment every now and then. GL.
I can't believe it's been seven MONTHS since anyone posted here (me). Is there anyone else here or am I the lone sheep?
Someone help me out, am I not seeing something? The Stock price is the lowest it's EVER been, while at the same time business is the BEST it's ever been. Surely Nextleaf has more assets than its 6.4 Mil US value according to TD Ameritrade?
Is there some kind of hidden fraud, embezzling scheme or scandal going on that I don't know about or is this just maybe one of the most under rated, overlooked values out there? Everything seems legit compared to so MANY other scam stocks I've come across over the 30 plus years I've been doing this.
Call me a fool, but I keep buying as this keeps tanking. My hope (anticipation) is at some point all of these patents will be worth big bucks to someone, right? I mean certainly Nextleaf has to be on someone's buyout radar?
I'm looking forward to hearing all of your thoughts on this.
Yes, I totally agree. I'm starting to get a fair amount invested here and the dip took me by surprise. My account value took a serious hit.
I did find the reason for the dip. They announced today that they're going to have a $3 Million offering at .20 Canadian (about .016 US), which would account for the sudden price adjustment.
Conference call today to explain if you're interested. I'm registered and will be listening to learn what is going on / what the plan is.

No idea but Nextleaf is a Buy & Hold stock for sure. Not really a flip opportunity for anyone. Down the road it will reward handsomely IMO - especially given all their patents.
Sure I want to chip in.
My idea is that when one owns property one finds the best use scenario. In other words, which of the patents holds the most long term profit and which do not. Now, if they need expansion capital to advance selected properties maybe they sell off some of the less valuable properties but to sell the whole thing and miss out on the big long term payoff when so much work has been invested in the various patents, processes and relationships and considering the CEO and everyone I see in pictures that are runnung this company are in their 30's it makes sense to me to milk the cow rather than sell or butcher her. Additionally, I do not want to see a buyout because I have 10 cannabis stocks of which 2 sold out their hot properies but stayed in business or at least stayed listed, that is to say the original stock was still listed but had then nothing of real value left, and I got $0 for my investment. Now they both lie dead, flatlined for years. Yeah they might make a comeback but on what?
The PPS keeps going down, down, down while the number of Patents keep going up, up, up. Is it just me, or does anyone else clearly read in the various press releases that even the company itself believes they are a perfect candidate for a very lucrative buyout.
Is there something I'm not seeing here? TD currently has their market cap at an unbelievable small $18.5M, while the company continues to release great progressive news. As the price continues to drop, I continue to buy.
In my opinion, it sure looks like the the payback on this with a buyout will be life changing. Anyone else see it that way or care the share their thoughts and insight?
