Then the Federal Trade Commission charged that Body Wise made deceitful weight-loss and cholesterol-reducing claims. In 1995, the company promised it would sin no more.

In 1999, Grimm moved on from Body Wise and, with his wife and two daughters, set up FemOne. Like USA and Uni-Vite, it sells its products through so-called direct or network marketing, also called multilevel marketing, and most accurately, pyramid marketing.

Grimm, who did not return phone calls, and a colleague paid a mere $279,350 for five million shares of stock in the gold-mining company. After the name change, FemOne stock surged, as Uni-Vite's had before crashing. It is hard to fathom FemOne's upswoosh. The company's liabilities are almost double its assets, and it has an accumulated deficit of almost a million dollars. The accountant questions the company's ability to continue as a going concern.

We waited 6 months, nothing..then AFTER R/S they say "oh we made money" now if you did that before R/S at .12 we might have a chance.

NO ONE with brains and reading the DD on Ray Grimm and his many 'entities' from one shell company to another (DD says it all)
NO ONE will pay $5.00 for a single share here when other companies have a greater chance to retern on invested money.

This would have to have a $6.00 to break even from before their R/S and a $10 would be 100% gain (this can be done daily on OTC with lower pps .003 to .006 ex) no one will pay $10 for a single share ion this when it couldn't hold .40 pre R/S

Pssst! Wanna double your money in one day? Yes, the stock of Actis Global Ventures, based in Carlsbad, soared from $0.0001 to $0.0002 on September 2. Officially, the stock’s price is still $0.00, according to Yahoo.com, which rounds off share prices for investors’ convenience.

A couple of years ago, Actis got a lot of publicity as one of San Diego County’s booming multilevel marketing companies. Such firms wring money out of salespeople as well as customers. Distributors make money on products they sell, as well as on products that people they recruited into the scheme sell. That’s why multilevel marketing, also known as network marketing, is often called what it is: a pyramid scheme. Over and over, it has been shown that only a small percentage of people in the pyramid make significant money, but the schemes still proliferate.

Most of these pyramids don’t make it. Consider Actis. As far as I can determine, $0.00 is a very realistic price for its stock because the company no longer has any operations. The company chief executive, Ray Grimm of Rancho Santa Fe, is a darling of pyramid marketers, as well as San Diego Beautiful People. He owned a palatial home that was used for movie sets. He still lives in the tony Ranch, and folks swoon over his collection of Lamborghinis.

He’s not so beloved in government circles. He had been a cofounder of Carlsbad’s USA Inc., which sold supposed health products. In the year 2000, Grimm and his wife set up FemOne to peddle so-called nutritional and skin-care products (also from Carlsbad). FemOne stock initially soared, getting to $1.70. Four years ago, the name was changed to Actis Global Ventures. The multilevel marketing firm kept selling the products for women and added another wrinkle: gizmos to combat electromagnetic radiation.

As Actis was coming apart, Grimm cofounded another multilevel company, Cal Nutrisciences, selling purported weight-loss products. It was based in the same building as Actis, according to my sources.

Grimm had 66.9 million shares and Hanser 11.4 million in 2007. The company never made money, defaulted on its debt, and had an accumulated deficit of $14.9 million. It stopped reporting its results to the Securities and Exchange Commission in 2007, but one big speculator bought several slugs of stock in 2009, and penny stock gamblers still bat the stock around.

So much for the multilevel-marketing penny stocks.

Another thing that smells of bullcrap and scammy here, originally the float was very micro 300,000 -the OS is in inflated to near 2 billion a r/s at 50 to 1 resets the OS to around 36 million shares (with a .20 pps now rest 50 to 1 equals $10.00 a share) we all know that $10 will NEVER hold post R/s ...people will be so pissed they will sell and now buy again, it will fall and retrace probably back to .20 and these turds will dilute (as Pugs said) overall this SUCKS!


This company really ruined a golden opportunity with plans for a R/s,
