Obviously the float is very thin and shares are being held tightly. Up nearly ½cent on 7100shares. Recent news with some volume should put this up over 3cents.
Hang on to your shares folks. We just might get to see a gain on this one yet!

* Restructuring implementation on track
* Demand ahead of conservative forecasts (Adds details)
BERLIN June 6 (Reuters) - Japan Airlines (JALFQ.PK) is experiencing passenger demand ahead of the conservative expectations outlined in its restructuring plan, the airline's president said on Sunday.
The success of the plan does not rely on a certain level of passenger demand, but JAL is ahead of where it expected to be, Masaru Onishi told Reuters on the sidelines of the International Air Transport Association's annual meeting here.
Onishi added that the implementation of the restructuring plan was generally on track.
JAL now expects to post a consolidated operating profit this fiscal year, rather than a loss as earlier forecast, Japan's Nikkei business daily reported earlier this week. [ID:nSGE6530IC] (Reporting by Ben Berkowitz, editing by Maureen Bavdek)

June 4 (Reuters) - Debt-ridden Japan Airlines Corp (JAL) (JALFQ.PK) expects to post a consolidated operating profit for the current fiscal year and has begun talks with key banks, the Nikkei business daily reported.
JAL now expects to post a consolidated operating profit of 22 billion yen ($237.8 million) for the year ending March 2011, instead of an operating loss of over 30 billion yen expected earlier, the daily said.
JAL also expects group operating profit to rise to 73 billion yen in fiscal 2011 and to 115 billion yen the following year, with revenue projected to be flat for the next three years, the paper said.
The airline and its trustee, Enterprise Turnaround Initiative Corp of Japan (ETIC), are looking to draft a rehabilitation plan by the end of the month and expect talks with banks to swing into full gear next week, the report said.
On Friday, the airline and ETIC hand delivered the latest outlook to banks like the Development Bank of Japan and Mizuho Corporate Bank, and said it will try to get other business partners on board by July, the Nikkei said.
The airline, which filed for bankruptcy under the Corporate Rehabilitation Law last January, has been under fire from banks and lenders, who have hinted that they would not help the carrier, citing its lack of effort.
Under pressure from lenders, JAL had decided to eliminate 16,000 jobs in one year, instead of over three years as initially planned, and also discontinue many unprofitable routes. About 45 routes now slated to be scrapped this fiscal year, the Nikkei said. ($1=92.53 YEN) (Reporting by Abhiram Nandakumar in Bangalore; Editing by Gopakumar Warrier)

Japan Airlines and China Eastern Airlines Increase Codeshare Flights
Tokyo, May 27, 2010: Japan Airlines (JAL) and China Eastern Airlines (MU) have reached an agreement to expand their codeshare partnership. From June 3, 2010, JAL will start to codeshare on 7 daily MU-operated flights between Shanghai (Pudong) and three other Chinese cities - Xi’an, Wuhan and Shenzhen.
Furthermore, both airlines have agreed to increase the flight frequency - from 4 daily flights to 9, on two existing codeshare routes connecting Shanghai with Chengdu and Chongqing. JAL will have its ‘JL’ indicator on a total of 16 daily flights operated by MU that links Shanghai with the 5 cities in China.
As traffic demand from China to Japan is expected to increase once the Japanese government eases restrictions on the application of individual tourist visas for Chinese nationals from July 1 this year, JAL will prepare to catch this wave and meet the increasing demand. Japan Airlines currently codeshares with China Eastern Airlines on 22 routes between China and Japan, and intends to pursue further enhancement of its China domestic network through such partnerships, for the convenience of its valued customers. Reservations and ticket sales start tomorrow.

JAL delays submission of restructuring plan, group chairman won't step down
JAL Chairman Kazuo Inamori is pictured during a press conference on Tuesday. (Mainichi)Troubled Japan Airlines (JAL) has announced that it will postpone the submission of its corporate reconstruction plan to late August -- a two-month delay.
The airline, which has filed for bankruptcy protection, had originally planned to file its rehabilitation strategy with a court by the end of June. However, as it continues to change the plan, adding more flight routes to be discontinued and more jobs to be cut, the company found it was unable to meet the original deadline.
During a regular press conference on Tuesday, Hideo Seto -- trustee of a state-backed corporate turnaround body which is aiding the airline's rebuilding process -- said the extension "is part of our efforts to enhance the corporate value of JAL, and we have gained the understanding of JAL's creditors." He emphasized that the delay would not affect the company's recovery.
In April this year, JAL decided to abolish 45 international and domestic routes -- an increase from the 31 it had proposed earlier in January. The JAL group is also planning to start cutting jobs ahead of schedule.
However, after creditors and some officials from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism expressed their concerns over the feasibility of JAL's reconstruction plan, JAL decided it needed to draw up a more solid financial plan in order to win their acceptance.
A JAL official said that although the group's core business, Japan Airlines International Co., posted an operating loss of 10.3 billion yen in April this year, the amount was a 22.4 billion yen improvement from a year earlier thanks to cost-cutting efforts such as reductions in labor expenses.
"The improvement was greater than expected," Seto pointed out.
Meanwhile, JAL Chairman Kazuo Inamori came under fire after JAL was found to have given members of the Seiwa-juku -- a group of young executives who study Inamori's business strategies -- various perks including discounts on flight tickets. The benefits were criticized as an abuse of power for private purposes, and they have since been canceled.
"The members formed a JAL fan organization, and the benefits provided to them were the same as those offered to our general customers," said Inamori, suggesting the benefits were within the scope of the company's standard services for corporate customers.
The road ahead for JAL looks to be a bumpy one. Commenting on speculation that he might step down early as chairman, Inamori denied the possibility, saying, "It's in the public interest for us to bring fair competition to the marketplace. I would like to be a part of that process for the next two or three years, as long as my health permits."

JAL Delays Submitting Rehabilitation Plan
Japan Today reported today that Japan Airlines Corp, operating under state-sponsored rehabilitation process, said it will submit its business turnaround plan to Tokyo District Court from June as initially planned to the end of August.
The report notes that the delay has been prompted by the need to review flight routes and come up with a plan that meets financial institution expectations.

Fredman has an Ihub subscription now! Gotta love the "Fredman" keyword Ihub search capability! ;oD
Me either, kind of fun to watch. Maybe I will learn something.
Who knows. I don't hold enough to make it worth selling at these levels. Continued improvement in JAL operations could mean that interest may pick up, though that may be months out...
Will it go higher????? Don't really care as I am not sure how to sell if I wanted, and I don't.

WOW!! hit .03 today. Looks like something may be improving for this one. Lets go JAL!!
Volume seems correct at 170K -- trades ranged from .001 to .015
Understood. Now, what about the volume. I thought we were over 200K at one time today. Is it possible to undo a trade? Did I miss something?? Maybe it was another stock.
Sorry, I didn't mean to convey the wrong impression here, I'm as much a newbie as anyone; it's just that these stocks don't seem to have very much in common except the fact that there is no bid/ask. What I took to be your point was that millions of shares can be traded w/o a bid and ask, that's all.
I'm still a newbie at this so I don't understand how it is different. I would have thought that ticker would have picked up a B/A long ago but still nothing in my ST account. If you have time to explain it to me I would appreciate it.
LOL, that situation is a bit different I'd say, but I get your point. I've had a limit order in at .2 since day one, so that's where I'm hoping to sell. Maybe next year, probably never.
It came came close to hitting
my entry of .018 earlier.
Not gonna happen anytime soon. Look at SPNG. Still no market on it and it has traded over 2MM today. MMs can make big money off the spread. Just keep holding. Maybe some news will push this up to a nice exit point and we can get our original investment back with a little extra.
And it's trading pretty wildly at that... time to make a market for this one guys, jeez.
UPDATE 1-JAL int'l flight rev falls 39 pct in April-Feb - Nikkei
April 1 (Reuters) - Debt-ridden Japan Airlines Corp's (JALFQ.PK) core international flight operator saw passenger revenue falling 39 percent to 399 billion yen ($4.30 billion) in the April to February period, the Nikkei business daily said.
In February, revenue from flight operations fell 24 percent to 30.9 billion yen at Japan Airlines International Co, the paper said.
If the pace of decline continued through March, the JAL group's passenger revenue from international flights likely came to 430 billion yen for the just-ended fiscal year, down almost 300 billion yen from a year earlier, the Nikkei said.
JAL saw a group operating loss of 120.8 billion yen in the April to December period, the Nikkei said, adding that the operating loss for fiscal 2009 is set to swell even further.
The struggling airline's main lenders have said they will not recommence lending unless it drastically revamps unprofitable flight operations in the restructuring plans that must be drawn up by the end of June, the paper said.

At 7:52 this morning as I logged onto scottrader streaming quotes. the bid ask flashed from -1.00/-1.00 where it has been for weeks to .00/.00. Now as I look again it has gone back to negative $1.00 at about 7:56 am. WTF Means nothing I guess. Burr
From one of the most vocal to LURKER! I guess being on an EC has a way of keeping your opinions in check. I trust everything is going well with our favorite Q.

Breathe, breathe,.....i think we have a pulse. Now get up and fly ya Japanese Airline.
March 25 (Reuters) - Debt-ridden Japan Airlines Corp (JAL) (JALFQ.PK) said it will suspend its scheduled freighter flight services by the end of October and would instead use the cargo belly space of passenger flights.
Bankruptcy | Financials | Industrials
The airline's passenger flights provide cargo capacity of about three times the volume available on its scheduled freighter flights, the company said in a press release posted on its website.
The market conditions for international cargo business is expected to remain severe and the new cargo business structure aims for a stable profit that can boost the recovery of its financial standing, the company said.
JAL said it will continue its cargo business by using the belly space of 508 weekly passenger flights plying 56 international routes, and on 134 domestic routes with 904 daily one-way flights.
Earlier in January, JAL filed for protection from creditors with more than $25 billion in debts, making it Japan's biggest-ever bankruptcy by a non-financial firm. (Reporting by Supantha Mukherjee in Bangalore; Editing by Jarshad Kakkrakandy)
Ouch, after my last 20 bucks they are!
Funny, that was a one time mistake that won't be repeated.
9000 shares @ .001, did you finally liquidate your holdings then, Jax?
Mar 24, 2010 (AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION via COMTEX) --
Japan Airlines (JAL) announced today that it is expanding its codeshare agreement with Australian carrier Jetstar Airways from 1 April 2010.
Under the expanded agreement JAL will place its 'JL' code on Jetstar's daily flights between Osaka (Kansai) and Cairns, which will be launched on 1 April.
The airlines have been bilateral partners since May 2007 and currently codeshare on Jetstar flights between Tokyo (Narita) and Cairns.
Reservations and ticket sales for the new codeshare flights will start on Thursday.
Anyone have speculation regarding the BA cabin attendants strike? What may be groundbreaking is the US Teamsters talking as if they will take part. Not usual for county to county support such as this. Little effect for JAL/Mesa I guess?
Yep Wall. It's taking its time but I am starting the think we might actually get our money back and make a little on this one if it takes off!
You saw it correctly, it was a 124,242 share trade. Getting some traction here.
A buy of 120K+ shares -- wonder if I'm seeing that correctly... if these shares come back to life (bid and ask start being established) I might add some myself. Never thought I'd be thinking about that again one day!
TOKYO (Dow Jones)--The chairman of Japan Airlines Corp. said Wednesday he aims to return the carrier to profitability on a monthly basis from early autumn, and to keep international passenger services.
Kazuo Inamori said intends to do this regardless of economic conditions, as doing so is crucial to securing funds from financial institutions down the road.
"We have to proceed with drastic restructuring, including cost cutbacks," Inamori told reporters. But at the same time, "JAL without international passenger services is absolutely not something that is on my mind," as revenue from such services is the biggest component of its business.
Inamori made the comments as the nation's biggest airline by revenue--which filed for bankruptcy protection in January--attempts to turn itself around with the help of the quasi-governmental Enterprise Turnaround Initiative Corp. of Japan. But current conditions don't suggest optimism for the once proud airline, whose disastrous financial situation forced it seek the government-backed bailout.
"We are bleeding a loss every day," said Inamori, 78, a widely respected management guru who built a start-up company into the blue chip electronics component maker Kyocera Corp.
Many JAL employees lack any sense of business, and the company has "too few people who base management on profits and losses," said Inamori, who took JAL's helm Feb. 1.
In February, the airline reported a Y46.7 billion net loss in the fiscal third quarter ended December, worse than the Y38.5 billion net loss in the same period a year earlier.
JAL's president Masaru Onishi said the airline is assembling a plan to scale back flight routes and frequencies, and the resulting cost reductions should be in effect from early autumn. JAL has already taken steps to cut goods procurement costs, among other things, he said.
The carrier has received government financial support for its operations during restructuring, which will involve reducing the 47,000-strong workforce reduced by a third, cutting unprofitable routes and lightening the debt load.
