Hi J. Hope all is well. Gold is climbing and the world's economic / debt / financial woes are accelerating. The perfect storm so to say. Once gold takes off Frank will not have a hard time unloading the property at a very good price if he so desires. At his age its probably the best choice. As you know the future price of gold is gonna be multiples of what it is right now. In the near term this will create a scramble by the senior miners to grab as many juniors and exploration properties as they can. Next year is going to be the year Hellix either resurrects or fades to black.
-Lamont
Hi Lamont. I just noticed this as well. ;)
Someone bought 15,000 shares today at .02. At the open someone (maybe the same person) bought 3,400 shares at .002. Thanks to whoever it was. TD Ameritrade doesn't allow transacting in Hellix anymore. If the person who bought these shares is on this board please let us know which brokerage you used. Thanks.
Hi J,
Im doing well. Hope you are too. Im not aware of any news. Was hoping we would have an update or something by now. I'll treat no news as being good news. Its probably gonna take a major move upward in the price of gold to push Frank back into action. Best wishes to you.
-Lamont
Hi folks. Been awhile! I hope everyone is doing well. Any new developments here? Anyone in touch with Mr. Underhill recent days? Thanks.
Hello J Dean, he has not emailed me in some months now. And to be honest I have not sent him anything for a while.
I fear he is really getting too old for all this and was not well some time back. I wonder if there are plans for a successor to him if things are too much.
Great job mining hound. It looks like you have put a great deal of thought into this. I commend you and thank you. I will start working on it as soon as I finish my move from my current house. Thanks again.
Regards, -Lamont

The full decision against Rudolf Walter Brenner by the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC):

Another way of finding this would be to do a search for disciplined persons British Columbia Securities Commission and search for Walter Brenner or Rudolf Walter Brenner
The cost for mining goes up as the price of oil goes up, so it might take a couple of years before things can resume.
Mining Hound
New idea.
The Chamber of Mines of Eastern British Columbia exists as a community group for supporting mining in the region where Helix Ventures has its claim in the Athabasca area, Nelson, British Columbia area.
The web site is https;//cmebc.com
Each of us writes an individual letter to them and asks the Chamber of Mines of Eastern British Columbia (CMEBC) to review the Helix Ventures situation, and ask them to write up a resolution declaring that Frank Underhill retains the rights to mine the claim that Helix Ventures has, free and clear of any hindrance from Rudolf Walter Brenners.
In each of our letters, we each share with the Executive Team of the CMEBC the findings of the British Columbia Securities Commission that Rudolf Walter Brenner (also spelled Rudolph), that Walter Brenner "breached security laws when he lied to BCSC staff...."
(Reference British Columbia Securities Commission news release Date 2014-07-24, Number 2014/62,m site: https://www.bcsc.bc.ca/about/media-room/news-release/2014/62-bcsc-panel-finds-that-bc-man-concealed-his-connection-to-an-offshore-trading-account-and-lied-to-staff)
We each also include in a letter fo the CMEBC the discipline that Brenner, mRudolf Walter received from the Canadian Securities Administrators (https:./www.,securities-administrators.ca/disciplinedpersons.aspx). The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) also disciplined Walter Brenner, (see story "ASC reciprocates bans against Rudolf Walter Brenner" May 27, 2015, by Curate RegWatch (author of the article). A link from this article goes to the full ASC decision.
Then each of us can include how much loss we suffered, and include in the letter that as an investor we would like the Nelson, BC area to benefit economic-wise from Helix Ventures mining in a responsible way, environmentally friendly, and that the jobs created, once mining would be feasible.
And then in conclusion of each of our letters, we ask the Executive Team of the CMEBC to write up a certificate and declaration of mining rights for Hellix Ventures fo explore and mine its claims (once the health situation - Coivid- is all clear), free and clear of any hindrance from Rudolf Walter Brenners.
The theory is that a judicial branch court can adjudicate. But the people have the right too to resolve issues, and this can be done through community action, and through local legislative bodies. If need be, we could then ask the CMEBC which local officials to contact for any further steps.
Frank Underhill actually worked a lot harder than things are said, and he's not going to respond to us. Too much stress from what Rudolf Walter Brenner did. So the best thing investors here can do is find another way, and I am thinking that writing letters and calling the CMEBC to inquire about what we can do is the next best step.

Hi Martin. Have you heard anything new, that you can share, from Mr. Underhill? Any new developments? He never wrote me back when I last emailed him. Thanks.
Hi J Dean, yes I had to sell my Hellix Shares on Interactive Investor. Since they don't support OTC trades, I was told it was in the agreement. If I remember correctly I was emailed that my shares would be removed, and since they were worth about £50 from the (if memory serves right) £6000 I bought them for, they let me sell those and buy a few beers.
I have a second load of Hellix shares on a SIPP deal pension account. They seem to allow those on there. But not so many, and worth only a little now.
Thank you J, mining hound, Martin958 and everyone on this forum that has contributed over the past several years. Has anyone talked to Frank recently ? Learning that his lawyer was removed from the case is disappointing. Hellix gets naked shorted to death, then gets relegated to OTC pink, then no word from Frank for years, then a court case against Brenner moves slower than molasses and now Frank's lawyer gets taken off the case. Frank should at least post a brief statement once in a while for us to read on this forum. Thank you mining hound for your latest report.
Best wishes
-Lamont
Hi everyone, court case will take a lot longer time, the judge granted a motion to remove the attorney on record from being involved in the case (the attorney was disciplined.for reasons not relating to the Helix V. case). Not until after money is made in other markets will the case go forward with hiring a new attorney.
What does this mean? Likely Helix will not rise with the rest of the tide, while other stocks in the gold market rise. There likely will be a global battle over gold, and very soon. Reference Zero Hedge article Sunday May 23, 2021, by Tyler Durden, titled "Basel III & The New Role for Gold." Inside the article is how the Basel III will affect the banking system in Europe compared to the the banking system in the United States. For Martin, I'll add in that the UK might miss out, the UK having sold its gold at the low of the market around 20021 and 2002 at an prices around $280, or around 150 to 180 British pounds!
The article about 2/3 of the way through it discusses that the European Central Bank can allow gold to go way up, but the Federal Reserve in the U.S. cannot allow this. I do not quite understand the process, but the author contends that the European Central Bank outmaneuvers the London and New York banking systems for the leading position in finance in the western world.
As commercial systems slowly gravitate toward adopting cryptocurrencies, the European Central Bank could allow gold to go sky high, let the commercial banking systems go bankrupt and fail with their cryptocurrencies, and then the European Central bank could eliminate the trillions in European debt and award new debt to the elite, all backed by gold. I might have misunderstood this part of the article, and ai will be looking for someone to further explain how this would work out.
Back to Helix, as Helix will not likely attract major investors for a few years, the best move is to make money off of the majors, like Newmont, Barrick, and other prominent producers like Franco Nevada and Agnico Eagle. Then beware that there could be a 10% to 20% stock market drop this year. Could the Dow Jones go to 40,000 or 44,000. Let's see if Congress approves the $6 trillion budget or not! ($6 trillion is crazy!). $6 trillion would feed the market for copper.
When Rubicon mining stock ran into trouble about 5 or 6 years ago, the re-organization left me with a 90% de-valutation. When Helix comes back, there's no guarantee that current shares will be valued at a price we would like.
The best thing to do is to make money through physical gold and silver, and then a portion in the major mining stocks, and then chip in to the legal fund when the case continues in the future.
I plan on chipping in to help, in a year or two, when the case goes forward. Until then, the delay in the case due to the attorney being dismissed is a bit too much. Still holding Helix yes, but as it is a speculative, not all my money is on it. But my best hopes are that when I make money on the already-producing gold and silver stocks, that I can chip in to help get Helix going again. And also, I will provide shareholder testimony in support of Frank, against W. Brenner. When I called the attorney last year, the one who got dismissed this year, that attorney did not sound like a solid guy, so it is good that attorney is gone.
Mining Hound
Hi Martin, so you had to sell all of your shares (forced to)? I’m very sorry to hear that, especially that you are a veteran LONG term buyer/believer of Hellix.
I’m in same boat as Lamont. I can no longer buy, but I still own what I have. Anyone hear ANYTHING from Frank lately, and status of the court case? I think I will have to email him again, and TRY to get a response.
Hi Martin,
Im with TD Ameritrade which supports pink sheet OTC. I still hold the stock with them. I don't know Frank's status. Hope he is doing well. Thanks for chiming in Martin and best wishes to you.
Regards,
-Lamont
Hi Lamont, over here in the UK I was forced to sell Hellix on my Interactive Investor account since they don't support pink sheets etc.
I suppose it depends on what the agreements are with your brokerage.
I hope Frank is doing okay and still fighting the fight.
Hi J. No you can't be forced to sell if you bought Hellix with cash. This liquidate rule applies to positions leveraged with a margin account. We are not affected by this rule if we bought with cash. A sell only rule cant apply to cash positions because in order to sell there has to be a buyer. Since they won't be allowing any buying this rule applies to open positions secured on margin. Buying on margin is a completely different ball game with a unique set of rules that govern it. Best wishes bud.
-Lamont
Lamont, they can’t ever force us to sell-liquidate our shares right, or can they?
Yes J I received one too. Seems this should have been the case for a long time. Why they waited so long is beyond me but Im not complaining. Being able to buy at these low prices has been a benefit to those that still believe they will make a comeback or get bought by a senior miner.
-Lamont
Hi all. Anyone else get this from their Brokerage? Unfortunately HLLXF is on this list. So after this date, can no longer Buy, only sell. So, if anyone still interested to buy, they better hurry! JMHO
“ What’s happening.
By May 25, 2021, we will restrict orders for Caveat Emptor securities to liquidation-only. After this time, we will only accept orders to close existing positions and we will cancel any existing orders to open new positions.
Why is this change occurring?
Caveat Emptor securities come with very high potential risk for investors. They can be volatile and illiquid (not easily converted to cash), and they can place a significant burden on investors in terms of investment research and due diligence. The OTC Markets Group will designate a security as Caveat Emptor if they become aware of one or more of the following risk factors:
• Misleading or manipulative stock promotion
• Fraud investigation or criminal activity related to the company or to insiders
• Regulatory trading suspensions or halts
• Disruptive or undisclosed corporate actions
• Other reasons related to the public interest “
I feel the same way J. I am hesitant to add any more shares (if possible) until Frank or someone on his behalf chimes in. Frank isn't getting any younger and I hope he is doing well.
Regards
-Lamont
I also was thinking of adding more shares (IF that’s possible). But it would be nice to know IF there will be life and hope in this company once again in the near future, before I spend more money.
Hi Lamont. I was thinking of emailing him again, but idk if that would be bothersome or he just doesn’t want to respond. Or maybe he just forgot? Lol
Hi J.
I was wondering the same thing bud. Hope all is well with Frank and his plans for Hellix.
Regards,
-Lamont
Hi fellas, what’s new? Anyone have any updates with the lawsuit, ETC.? I emailed Frank a ways back ago. He said that he would write me back when he got the chance, but I never heard from him since.
Hi J,
18k shares were purchased today @ .0084 or below so buying under a penny per share is still possible. I dont know which broker(s) conducted these transactions though. Best wises. -Lamont
HLLXF
Bid: 0.0069 Ask: 0.27 Last: 0.0084 Chg ($): 0.0015 Vol: 180.08K
It seems MUCH harder to acquire shares now, IMO. Oh well, I’ve got my few in. Locked and Loaded, just waiting now, nothing else we can do. A decade gone by already! What’s a few more months/year(s)?! LOL.
Hi J,
I think what possibly triggered the warning from TD is that I was placing multiple buy orders to see what would trigger a sell. If it didnt work I would move up in half cent increments. If it wasn't successful I would move up in the price by another half cent. This resulted in quite a few buy orders being cancelled on any given day. All that activity must have triggered the warning. When I replied to them i included the history of this stock, the naked shorting and the constant violations of the bid stack etc. I also made them aware that the ask price always stays at .027 even though orders are NEVER filled at the ask. Hellix is OTC and they claim they cant do anything about price manipulation. Someone posted this is what they were told. I agree that they dont have jurisdiction over the grey market The catch 22 is that since they are allowing us to trade on their platform they still monitor for price manipulation. By sending out warnings such as the one I got they are in essence taking jurisdiction. I was surprised they even allowed me to place orders since someone posted that were halting the trading in Hellix. I dont know what the ultimate result will be. TD places themselves in a bad position when they claim they are halting trades then allow trading and collect the commission fees.
Best wishes bud
-Lamont
Hey Lamont, I’m wondering if that has anything to do with it being much harder to acquire shares? So it seems to me. Not easy to buy now, jmo!
Hi J.
Yeah that is really something isn't it. They haven't responded back but I will keep you in the loop if they do. In the meantime let's keep hope alive bud......
Regards,
-Lamont
Thanks Mining hound for the PM you sent me on 12/18/2000. I did not know until just now that you sent it to me. I dont have a premium subscription so I cant PM you back. I greatly appreciate that you took the time to keep me in the loop. Thanks again.
-Lamont
Wow! Lamont, That doesn’t make any sense. And just like you said, yet the naked short crooks go unpunished forever! Your absolutely right. What a joke!Maybe they don’t like you buying VERY CHEAP shares?
TD Ameritrade warning about price manipulation
Hi all,
Has anyone received a TD Ameritrade warning about price manipulation in their account ? I did today citing certain trades I have made. I replied to them citing what has been going on since 2012. I also let them know Im agitated that I should receive such an email while the real price suppression continues unabated for the past 9 years. On one hand they claim no responsibility for OTC stocks then on the other hand they flag puny legal trades as possible manipulation. Maybe the Hellix riggers are getting a little worried that we continue to fight them. I don't know If I will attempt any more buy orders if getting hassled is the result. See below.
-Lamont
At TD Ameritrade, we always want to be sure you know the relevant rules and regulations governing the trading and positions you hold in your account. In particular, we want you to be aware of the practice known as manipulative trading.
Possible Manipulative Trading in Your Account
We are bringing this up because an instance of manipulative trading may have occurred in your account(s): XXXXXXXX
Between XXXXXXX - XXXXXXX the client established a pattern of potentially manipulative trading in HLLXF. The client is placing small buy orders in what appears to be an attempt to uptick or support the price of the stock.
Order ID: XXXXX.........
Manipulative trading practices constitute a serious violation of exchange trading rules. Sometimes traders unknowingly use a strategy that may involve manipulative trading. You can help avoid this, and the potential penalties resulting from it, by familiarizing yourself with the subject. Your business is important to us, and we want to assist you with some useful information.
What Are Manipulative Trading Practices?
Manipulative trading practices include, but are not limited to, transactions for the purpose of:
- Creating or inducing a false, misleading, or artificial appearance of activity in the market.
- Unduly or improperly influencing the market price.
- Setting a price that does not reflect the true state of the market.
- Trades that result in no change in beneficial ownership.
- Pre-arranged trading with other parties.
Terms commonly used to describe manipulative trading practices include: wash trades, matched trades, painting the tape, and spoofing.
What Penalties Are Involved?
Accounts directly or indirectly engaged in manipulative trading practices may be subject to trading restrictions, account closures, and/or regulatory penalties. We urge you to be careful not to engage in the sort of trading activity described above in order to avoid these penalties in the future.

I hear ya. I am/was in the same exact boat as you. Except that I sold all at huge loss years ago, and completely gave up on it! It’s only in the last few months/year that I slowly repurchased shares ago at pennies on the dollar, as a speculative play. Let’s hope this company resurrects itself and shines bright as 24K. GLTU/GLTA. :)
I started buying in 2011, listened to Bob Chapman on the radio, and had the pleasure of getting some advice by phone. After buying and selling HLLXF then ( making some money on it; I bought back in an the $.80 cent range after a big bounce to about $1.50. Since then it has been a down hill ride. But I have continued to cost average and am down below 3 cents a share. I will try to sell at .o4 and .06 and .10 and .25--some of my shares, in order to recover the thousands that I am underwater on. But I will still hold some shares long term in the hopes that this stock gets back to above $1.00 range. Hope that this makes sense; will continue to watch here; by the way, Ameritrade did execute a trade for me today for BUYING at .0039 ---500 shares/ I am trying to get 10000 at this price; otherwise the commission is eating my lunch .I'm sure that you can do the math. best regards--Louis
Hi. Yeah that seems odd. Go to a different (better) brokerage that will NOT restrict you. Also, some these days don’t even charge a commission (Idk how/why they do that, but I’m not complaining). Curious, you said that you sold. Are you trying to sell your shares? Why so, at these extremely low price? You’re not holding to see if hllxf (hopefully) makes a comeback?
On 2-8-21 someone bought from me 882 shares at .06. today I sold (so far) 12 shares at .04--(costing $6.95 commission each day) I am happy for the movement up; but disappointed about the commissions. T.D.Ameritrade has also blocked purchases of HLLXF; only allowing sales. They say they have done this to all stocks that have a Caveat --see copy--[On January 31, 2021 TD Ameritrade will restrict orders in Caveat Emptor designated OTC securities to liquidating trades only. Closing trades will continue to be allowed after this time.]
I think that I will call and complain for what good it will do---better days ahead--keep your sunny sides up....
Ok who’s the guilty one here who shot this up to .03 without letting me accumulate more?!!! LOL, jk
Hi J,
Maybe the BCSC got suspicious of Brenner and Hellix management and had a hand in blocking the permits until the matter is resolved. In 2012 the BCSC began asking Brenner questions about his activities. He eventually admitted to trading Hellix stock from an overseas trading desk which led to him being banned from trading and purchasing securities etc in Canada for 2 years. See news article below. The article states Brenner lied. He obviously knew his activities were illegal. 2012 was when the stock started to tank via naked shorting and permit delays. Since we don't have a formal statement from Frank we are left to speculate. As for me my heart remains hopeful.......
BCSC panel finds that B.C. man concealed his connection to an offshore trading account and lied to staff
2014/62
July 24, 2014
Vancouver – A British Columbia Securities Commission panel has found that Rudolph Walter Brenner breached securities laws when he lied to BCSC staff about his connection to a corporation that purchased and sold securities of a company for which he was a director.
The panel found that Brenner, a B.C. resident, concealed his relationship to a securities trading account held by Muscatine Financial Corp., a company controlled by the Brenner Family Trust (Brenner is a beneficiary of the Brenner Family Trust). The panel also found that Brenner falsely denied using Muscatine’s trading account at an Austrian bank to sell shares of Hellix Ventures Inc. in September 2011. Brenner was a director of Hellix, a reporting issuer in B.C. and Alberta, between January 2000 and April 2012.
In its decision, the panel stated that Brenner was asked by BCSC staff in March 2012 to identify securities trading accounts, both domestic and foreign, over which he had direction, control, or a beneficial interest, and to produce documents for all such accounts. Brenner provided information about his Canadian accounts, but did not mention the Muscatine trading account or provide any documentation related to it.
Brenner also denied providing the instructions to trade the shares of Hellix. He subsequently admitted his connection to the Muscatine trading account after repeated enquiries by commission staff.
The panel also found that Brenner did provide the instructions to trade the Hellix shares.
The panel also found that Brenner did not file insider reports regarding the September 2011 sale of Hellix shares in the Muscatine brokerage account within the prescribed five days of those sales, thereby breaching securities laws concerning insider reporting.
The panel ordered that Brenner be prohibited from trading in securities, purchasing securities or exchange contracts, and from becoming or acting as a director or officer of any issuer or registrant for a period of two years. He is also banned, for the same period, from becoming or acting as a registrant or promoter, from engaging in investor relations activities, and from acting in a management or consultative capacity in connection with the securities market.
You may view the findings decision on our website www.bcsc.bc.ca by typing Rudolph Walter Brenner or 2014 BCSECCOM 292 in the search box. Information regarding disciplinary proceedings can be found in the Enforcement section of the BCSC website.
Please visit the Canadian Securities Administrators’ Disciplined Persons List for information relating to persons disciplined by provincial securities regulators, the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association (MFDA).
Question to all, if (and hopefully) HELLIX is reborn, where does Mr Underhill begin? Pick up where he last left off? More testing the property for minerals? Just outright try and sell to a major?
Can he actually pull off producing? If so, how far into future would that be?
It has been so long, I forgot how far ahead he was before things went bad (2011-12). I do remember that certain powers that be, were delaying or refusing giving him the permits! HE HAS THE GOODS IN THE GROUND. How much, I don’t remember?
Anyway, Just curious and pondering the thought of a possible comeback. Any thoughts?
I am very hopeful. We’ll see. GLTA :)
Hi everybody. I emailed Mr Underhill. He received my email and said that he would get back to me. Nothing as of yet. But let’s keep our heads up. Hopefully, this company will rise again, 2nd generation, Lol. Imagine though? What a perfect time to resurrect the company. We are heading into a Au/Ag boom. We’ll see. :)
I filled all at once with limit order. it took awhile--weeks
Hi Mining Hound,
Very good words from you here. Glad that Frank is up and about again.
Martin
Hello J_Dean,
I finally sent you the old email thread to your new email address. I hope it come through okay.
Thanks mining hound for the update. You mentioned a suspended lawyer and another that is not really retained. Is there an actual case still pending ?
Regards, -Lamont
Hello, everyone, apologies for taking so long to post. From the Clark County eighth website, things did not look right to me, and I needed a lot of clarification. The court website does not describe clearly with necessary detail about what's going on. After talking with a clerk for the judge, and then getting clarification from one of the attorneys listed, and doing some research,, I've gotten a better picture of what's going on.
Hi Martin 958, Frank is doing well, and he mentioned he thinks really well of you. Glad you received my prior message even though not doing the paid subscription here. I realized just before you posted last year, that you were the friendly contact from England. Thank you, and Mr. Underhill is thankful for you being a thoughtful and caring guy!
About the case in Nevada courts: One of the attorneys listed as counsel (Gewerter) has been given an order of suspension by the Nevada state ba The other attorney listed as counsel does not actually seem to be retained, but he does seem seems to be of excellent character.
The next steps might take some time, we'll see!
I do not think that this will be a great year for mining development with the coronavirus situation, but longterm I think Helix is in the game.
Best regards, blessings, and good health this year to everyone! It will likely be another month before I post again.
