Pit is doing just fine. One thing HRCT got right (briefly) was their relationship with Israeli teleconferencing firm, Radvision. Remember tho when "Carrie" got insulted by something they did and called the deal off.
Carrie had very high standards in the people she associated with, I guess. LOLOLOLOLOL!
I was trying to do some research on sinobull this morning. What a great platform. Dr. Phan really knocked that one out of the park! http://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=6270393
What's the hottest Chinese penny POS? Any houseboat partees? I need some advice from those who have experience on the board of advisors. Where is the bail bondsman from Texas? The stock guru Markie Mark? The pompous one from the Midwest? Without stellar advice, how can I make it out of early retirement in style?
To Hrct bull and OCernie.... The truth shall set you free!
To the one(s) that are having my posts removed all I can say to you is THE TRUTH HURTS DOESN'T IT? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah Go you HRCT cheerleaders.
Thanks for the laugh. I been wearing my HRCT T-shirt, just in case.
It was packed. They just kept talking about Sussex university PhDs and gullible American investors.
How many of the Phaithful showed up? Was it better than our beach party? Did you take pictures to share, mmm?
Shareholder meeting is scheduled for the Bunny Ranch. Tonight at 9pm. Clams and taco's will be served.
How many blazing red flags can you spot even in HRCT's comical first SEC filing? Hartcourt was already failing in pens, cosmetics, gold mining (!!!) and Chinese real estate/construction. Regis Possino's name appears.
Hartcourt stumbled from Day One, and at every turn afterward:
"In April 1994, the Company entered into a Lease Agreement with Tokai-Anza-Scripto Pen Company ("Anja"), for the use of five special ball pen assembly machines by the Xinhui JV. The lease provides for semi-annual payments of $25,000 over a ten-year term, subject to adjustment based on future purchases
of merchandise by the Company from the lessor. onsequently, annual lease payments could range from zero, if annual purchases are in excess of $1,000,000, to $100,000, if annual purchases are less than $100,000.
The machinery was delivered by Anja in June 1995. However, the machinery initially did not function properly and therefore, the lease term did not commence until February 1996. In December 1996, the machinery was shipped by vessel back from the Xinhui JV to the Company and is scheduled to arrive in January 1997. The Company and Anja have agreed to terminate the lease upon delivery of the machinery to Anja with no further obligation to the Company. To date, there have been no payments under this lease."
That full filing can be "admired" at:

I was kidding of course. By no standard do HRCT (and WAVE) comprise a sensibly diversified portfolio ... especially when both had Going Concern warnings.
As I made my first stab at investing, around age 19, I owned 3 or 4 NYSE stocks, plus bank accounts/CDs (they actually paid something in those days), and -- within a few years -- a small apartment building that was quite a money-maker.
Doesn't worth the trip to me. I still have an eye out in case the Doc shows up here!
The "Dr." Is in. Taking a raft from Vietnam. Arrival time depends on the ocean tides and brief stop for tennis match with Marty Mark. Tennisdud wi umpire. Peace??????????
Who has confirmed so far?
At least you were sensibly diversified. My shortcoming was focusing my assets in bland blue chip equities, index funds and bonds. Boring stocks with predictable slowly rising dividends.
Remember the early days here when they'd post: "Hartcourt is a Fun Stock to Own?"
For example, from 2003: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=961345
SHAREHOLDERS MEETING
2015 meeting will take place at the KOA Campground just outside of a town in Montana. Meeting will take place in 2 hours. Upon entry to the park follow the trail to the left, look for the large rock and then move to the third bon fire on the right. Iron City Light and smores will be provided.
As far as "moving on", I've done that years unfortunately with a substantial loss but we just go on and don't look back. I learned a valuable lesson from the doctor, tin, and several others in his circle.
I've not purchased a dimes worth of penny stock since and if I wanted to gamble, I'd just go to a casino and roll the dice. At least you have a 50/50 chance of actually making some money. With Hartcourt, only the insiders made a little bit but I really doubt most made anything.
Later..........hb
I sold all I owned when the last time, the company announced a 'change in plan'. I got some change back and have done well. TinMan immediately removed me as moderator. Anyone dare to bad mouth his baby, can not moderate.
If you ever 'invest' in a penny, treat it as a crap shoot, and take your money off the table.
If I recognized Phan on the street, I will try to take his picture, give you the address, and you come do him right. Its only money, not worth spending time in prison for.
Shoot what you can and then go into hiding. Never can tell, one of them might have actually been Phan.
I have been in the Philippines for few months, now. There are a lot of peeps here who look like they could be Doc Phan. I think they are not, however.
This board just keep followers and stays alive! The Phaithful :)
I am set for life, retired at 58, and happy. If you investigate what happened to the price of SINA and SOHU and know they were discussed on this board along with HRCT, then I will not have to help you figure out what I meant.
"Had we diversified" "We" meaning Hartcourt or "we" meaning your stock portfolio?
"Had we diversified: HRCT, SINA, SOHU, and
there were others with a business we considered
similar, we would of done okay, too."
Had we diversified: HRCT, SINA, SOHU, and there were others with a business we considered similar, we would of done okay, too.
Another alternative Alan. We learn for the first time about Phan doing post graduate work in Australia in 2002. Wasn't he running HRCT then? What happened to his Sussex College of Technology diploma mill PhD?
I thought the "Doc" was leading troops in Nam in the 60s. He doesn't mention "Alan the War Hero" when addressing the gang back home. Now we hear about Alan backpacking around Europe in the 60s and surviving a brush with death in Ecuador. All new information to me.

Sino Bull tele marketers?
True to form, you still don't answer the question...
According to the link above I'm this group's 11th most prolific poster.... Minimal considering the size of my portfolio.
Better that you wonder about those above me on the list that have huge losses to show for their time here. Maybe not even a home or marriage anymore. And I didn't attend a shareholders meeting and wait in line for Phan to autograph a tee shirt.
Watching HRCT and the mistakes of its "investors" was immensely profitable for me. My portfolio is 100% domestic quality issues. Ten stocks on the NYSE; two on the NASDAQ. Certainly nothing Chinese. No pennies or small cap. No trying to outsmart Mister Market by trading or shorting. Only one of my stocks, an old Rockwell spinoff, Skyworks Solutions, paid no dividend when I acquired it.
Just did something I've never done before. Looked at the dividend performance of my stocks since the Great Recession. Each upped its payout during that period. I was shocked that my Rockwell Collins only had one increase although its share price has doubled. Several stocks had many small div increases. Comcast's payout has nearly tripled.
As for Skyworks, its been one of the great growth stories of recent years. Its chips are used extensively by Apple. SWKS paid its first dividend in early 2014, and raised it just six months later!
My individual stock holdings are the exact opposite of what HRCT was, and their performance has been fantastic. My dividend income has doubled in the past 5 years. Still, index funds are my core holdings as they have been for decades.
Good for you. I was force to go back to work at 65.
The con man's blog:

ETAK still has a bid/ask.
Maybe they buy our shell and use our valuable ticker symbol?
Did ETAK finally fold? Haven't seen any qction in that stock for several weeks now........hb
"Can anyone get me up to speed, thanks" Nah, but I tried, long ago.
Tough lessons.....The reason why I never marry a stock....I date them all and the shorter the dates the better....They all will break your heart eventually...
unless you want to loss your money? I had since 1999... lost every penny....
I guess this stock was a major major scam, lost tons of money in this... held since 1999
Ok, last time i was on this board was 2004! I own 50,000 shares of this stuff and lost 30,000... what the hell happened here,,???? I have not followed the board in years... can anyone get me up to speed, thanks
Go HRCT and the board of Advisors! The knowledgeable POS who posted here for years.
I am visiting China in September. Can I start the dream? Revisit the nightmare?
Just glanced at two recent PRs from my MMM stock ($142 a share). Neither PR had any such disclaimer.
As I've said for years, in Pennyland the disclaimers are often the only accurate statements.
Certain statements in this letter may constitute "forward - looking" statements within the meaning of Section 21E of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Such "forward - looking" statements involve risks, uncertainties and other factors, which may cause the actual results, performance or achievements expressed or implied by such "forward - looking" statements to
differ materially.
Another otcbb, pink- sheet deserter. This reads like a laundry list. They'll lie to your face and tell ya' everything you want to hear before the slink away. It's a rinse and repeat script.
Phan, "the brave soldier" deserted before the lynching party.
July 2000: "In three more years, you will have the
opportunity to sing the victory song with me; or to organize a lynching party. I will take full responsibility for all results.
Sincerely,
Dr. Alan V. Phan
Chairman & CEO"
Here's one of his super Bull Shit Letters:
http://forum.finanzen.net/forum/HARTCOURT_STRONG_BUY_KEIN_PUSH_Dr_PHAN_Brief-t36714
How can we realize our dream when our leadership deserted?
The Dream goes on :) We need a meeting to discuss it, Lugan.
So what is this brilliant band of players currently focusing on to somehow recoup the HRCT disaster?
