YHOO may pull back a bit more, but I bought in around $20 and will buy more at 19.50

So let's look at the things that AOL has

-They have their traditional ISP biz, complete with email and instant messaging.

-They have a browser through Netscape

-They have content through TWX....lots of content

-They have last mile access through TWX's cable holdings (roadrunner). And look they are going international with last mile access with this announcement today.

-How long before AOL starts offering voice/telephony services?

AOL is going for both horizontal and vertical control of their markets. I believe that the moves that they are making can make for a huge conglomerate going forward. But I am surprised that you don't hear more about anti-trust concerns. MSFT has nothing on AOL in this particular area IMO, when you consider the content and distribution abilities.

But then again, replacing Tim Koogle with Terry Semple who is a hollywood mucky muck says that other people see the business model of the future.

AMGN looks very bullish, but it is right up against resistance. I would be a buyer at $57.

I know how to do this and redirect...and have done it a few times.. but I didnt know it was a tool to hack sites.
is it the automatic aspect that creates the hacking or will it occur even if you click on the link..

i once put in a tool that went off every time someone tried to hack my computer or search my computer..the first time the alert went off I totally freaked and froze and then totally unplugged my computer as the alarm was going off because I wasnt sure what to do... and it happened within an hour of me installing the program..I have forgotten the name of it but it is one the SE has recommended

then it seemed like it was going off all the time
it opened up my eyes to how often people are searching trying to get into a system from all over the world

If you want to build your base then YOU should be making an effort at understanding the objections that many have about this site.

And no Matt..it isn't just a few people that have objections and see problems despite the spin that you and Jenna seem to want to use.

I dont go as far as Anthony@pacific in his claim that this site is a scam with his documentation to back it up...

but your activities and policies do bring up questions

If you choose not to understand the objections you will end up paying the price one way or another.

I kinda like that idea. The one important point is that if one of those commercial sites takes potshots at an individual in the residential area, it is open season on them (the commercial site).

I see the commercial ventures here similarly as to how celebrities and the press are viewed. Since the commercial ventures are here to solicit money from your membership, the membership has every right to be critical of their actions. And if the commercial venture steps out of line...they are held to a higher standard than a normal member. Same as with a COB. COBs are the cops, the cops have to be held to a stricter interpretation of the rules and if they violate them, the reprecussions have to be more severe.
