I kinda like that idea. The one important point is that if one of those commercial sites takes potshots at an individual in the residential area, it is open season on them (the commercial site).

And to help you see Lisa's point....if I started to make nasty comments about some cat named Fatt Matt, that would not give Fatt Matt the right to attack The Real Poet. The fact that I attacked you, is not relevant to the fact that you attacked The Real Poet (even though she clearly deserves it for other reasons).
