It's not the Mr. A and the pet person?
People who own a lot of guns own them for different reasons. Some are collectors. That's fine. Collectors collect all kinds of things. We may not see the point, but they do.
Others are hunters who may use a variety of weapons.
Yet more, unfortunately, have them for more sinister reasons. It can be hard to figure that out till it's too late.
We haven't yet heard about what the girlfriend said about all his firearms. Is it possible she didn't know about most of them? The neighbors said he had a "refrigerator-sized safe" in his garage. Might he have stored some of the guns there?
Is she living the free life on your dime?
If so, perhaps you should make it less free.
If it's her dime, then I guess there's not much you can do any more.
Do you own more than 15 firearms?
That's considered normal by the NRA.
Is he that unusual to own 15 or 20 firearms then?
I've seen people at gun shows brag about having 20 or more semi- and 'full' automatic weapons in their possession.
Should this worry me?
MYEC CEO Ed Starrs posted today on on Facebook that he will be filing unaudited financials with the SEC to get current. Don't dare say on the MYEC board that that isn't possible for a reporting company, you will get called an idiot with baby genitalia
Holy moly -b*b* getting the love from the crews.
Oh. Well hey, "maybe" should cover that forward-looking stuff, no?
They say maybe
"Upon execution of a non-disclosure agreement (“NDA”), as approved by *****, Spindle may provide the names “*****” and “*****” for the purposes of raising debt and/or equity as part of the contemplated transaction."
We may never know.
Lots of phantom make believe deals in the otc world. Maybe they're just being honest?
:)
.223 can make a good hunting round for up to deer size game with the right ammunition. The military stuff, full metal jacket and even the hollow points, just goes right through flesh and bone and is really mean to wound, and maybe go through 2,3 or even 4 soldiers. There are hunting rounds for the .223 and the 7.62 (.30 cal. that I prefer) for the AR-15 and AK-47 that have a polymer tip that helps greatly with expansion and limiting penetration. The Hornady SST or Z max. Great for hunting and home defence and stops them dead in their tracks.
Really helpful. Why did they bother?
Delicious as it is, foie gras is not all that good for you.
I would like to think my education far surpasses that of some loin cloth from five millennia before me.
And a few thousand years from now, some people might say the same thing of you. We'd be nowhere if it weren't for the accomplishments of people in the past.
LOLOL!! That's true.
That's hillarious!
Like "Lets make a deal". What's behind door #2? A new car? Or a rock?

Two days before HOMR (now STVA) fell from 1.88 to .0685 FINRA member firms were short 312,918 shares, about 1/3 of the average daily volume. Pretty sharp cookies those guys.
That's the link for over the counter symbols. REAL companies can be found here:

Many hedges got paid on the 2/20 basis... 2% of assets AND 20% of any gains. I pay Vanguard 0.08% to run my index funds LOLOL!. And I keep all gains.
Do you get better management from those overpriced 2/20 funds? Consider how they failed to do the most basic research on Madoff's CPA whose tiny office was in a strip center, next door to a preschool, just 20 miles from Wall Street. Like I always say, start DD by looking at the auditor.
This article is one more example of why so many Investment professionals hate Buffett (and John Bogle, the patron saint of index funds). The public is learning!
Adding to Lucky's post, FINRA only posts twice per month. Very common for Market Maker intra-day short "volume" to be misinterpreted as "shorts". Those daily numbers quoted are basically meaningless.
FINRA's bi-monthly short "INTEREST" is the number representing open short positions needing to be covered
I love it. If your hedge fund can’t beat the s&p then you shouldn’t take any fees. You know what really bothers me is the funds that invest in other funds, it’s like hiring someone to do your job for you, and you both get paid. A lot of those idiots were exposed when Madoff got caught, deservedly so. Thanks for posting that.
For OTC, the source is here: http://otce.finra.org/ESI
They are reposted at OTCM , easier to see the history, but OTCM sometimes lags posting the most recent.
Example using BVTK:
http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/BVTK/short-sales
this is often up to two to three weeks late but it is the ONLY reliable source. any site that claims daily figures is lying.

Where can I find the most accurate short reports?
"After winning bet against hedge funds, Warren Buffett says he'd wager again on index funds"
"The chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Warren Buffett said Tuesday that passive investing works in any market environment and so he'd be willing to wager again against active investing for the next 10 years.
A decade ago, the billionaire investor made a million dollar bet that the S&P 500 will beat a basket of fund of hedge funds over the next 10 years, ending this year. He will likely win that bet by a large margin.
The S&P 500 "will absolutely kill every one of the fund of funds," Buffett said on CNBC's "Squawk Box." "Passive investment in aggregate is going to beat active investment because of fees."

The FED has been announcing from the rooftops that interest rates are going up, likely three times, in 2018
Nobody believes they actually can. If the fed rate was increased to an historically average 3% then it would take the entire tax revenue of the country to pay just the interest on the nat'l debt.
A read head scratcher. The FED has been announcing from the rooftops that interest rates are going up, likely three times, in 2018. Common sense would dictate an increase in fixed rate mortgages. Nope.
Bad sign for at least three reasons: real estate prices have risen so quickly that people don't have a choice but to get ARMs; homes are increasing being purchased by flippers or investors; and/or banks are pushing people into mortgages that are best for the banks, not for the consumers.
I'm surprised it took this long now that the banks know the taxpayer will be forced to bail them out.

Dog Beach. I just let my dog out. Time for the pool. South Beach Grill, great place for lobster tacos in OB. Chat soon, you lived in a great place.
All this murder talk, I got to go out to the pool. Getting pain in my back and shoulders.
I know this guy scammed some how some way, and his girl is complicit.
Time for a swim.
Kardashian's father used to frequent 20/20 for lunch before he passed. It was under the tunnel across from the hotel in CC where HHSE and Eric Parkinson pretended to hold an AGM a year ago.
OMG, herring and sardines. Ill settle for Foie Gras.
I agree, inquiring minds want to know.
Hearing is overrated. Mine is shot. My ears have spent way too much time inches from jet engines for years, they don't work all that well anymore.
i lived the o.b. life for awhile in the 70's. lived on voltaire street. it really worked for a certain age.
Even my Southern California, hardcore progressive vegan daughter cannot stand Diane, Barbara, Nancy, or Schumer. She hates politicians more than she hates the killing of animals. She hates the police, the government. She hates them all. I keep trying to tell her she is eating tasty plants, but she wont listen.
She used to go to high school in a limo, and now she hates rich people too. She just loves living the "free" life in San Diego on the beach. She has in the last year been to Peru, Costa Rica, Bali, Sydney, Panama, but she is sooooo full of love she is full of hate.
.223/5.56 is ideal for varmint/pest control, coyotes, hog, even some deer.
The only rifle round worth suppressing would be a .22. A sub-sonic 223/5.56 round is essentially a .22 in terms of power (i.e. worthless)
Contrary to popular imbecilic opinion, if the Vegas shooter had been using a suppressor and sub-sonic rounds thenmost likely FAR fewer people would've been injured/killed because the bullets would have been traveling so slow and at such a long distance they would've barely penetrated the skin instead of passing through 2 or 3 people. I'm sure we'll learn soon that the same bullet hit multiple people.
Senator Feinstein introduces "Automatic Gunfire Prevention Act"
Nobody uses a subsonic .45-70 but for dropping elk or moose. A .223 or 5.56 is a NATO round (not an expert in this area) or an AR-15 round. Shoots flat and is supersonic. My dad has a .45-70 with no scope fro hunting elk. My daughter a .243 Mossberg for hunting deer. Big kick for a small caliber, but will drop a deer in its tracks, no following the blood trail. The .243 is perfect inside 200 yards in deer hunting. Not great in brush, change of trajectory, a 30-30 or a .308 is better into brush. Some states don't allow long rifles to hunt, they permit shot guns with slugs, however. A 7mm mag is a great elk rifle, so is a 30-06 and .270s
I really don't know why people own a .223 other than for target shooting. My uncle has a .22 mag lever action, that even my vegan daughter likes to target shoot with. Not critters, targets.
For those who remember "Chief Usti", aka, Walter Pressley of bogus "tribe".... with the Southern Cherokee Nation of the Red Fire People "Central Bank", it looks as if the misrepresentation and lies have finally caught up with him, by way of cease and desist orders from Georgia's financial institutions and banking regulators. Not surprising. Can't be a real "chief" without a real tribe, real people, real treaty and a real sovereign nation and central bank. Just another con man.

Oh great. A few years ago my identity was stolen and someone filed my taxes for me! Fortunately the IRS sent a letter for more info before they would send me my refund. It has taken 3 years to clear it up. Doubt the IRS did much to capture the person but made me go to IRS office with more than one form of identification before I got my next return.
Then credit cards were opened in my name.
Doubt the credit card company did much to follow up on that either.
Than someone goes online and forwards my mail to another address and had a months worth of my mail to peruse through including all sorts of information.
Doubt the post office followed up on that even though they had the damn address!
Then I go on Equifax to check my credit and they had the fraudulent address of place my mail was sent as one of my addresses! I waited on the phone for one whole hour to report it since they won't let you do that online and eventually hung up!
This hacking ID stuff is out of control!!!
Sounds like the lyrics to a country music song. Like I said yesterday, country music is the root of all evil....

Stock Dilution Scam:
A share dilution scam happens when a company, typically traded in unregulated markets such as the OTC Bulletin Board and the Pink Sheets, repeatedly issues a massive amount of shares into the market for no reason, considerably devaluing share prices until they become almost worthless, causing huge losses to shareholders. Then, after share prices are at or near the minimum price a stock can trade and the share float has increased to an unsustainable level, those fraudulent companies tend to reverse split and continue repeating the same scheme.
Pump and Dump Schemes:
"Pump and dump" schemes, also known as "hype and dump manipulation," involve the touting of a company's stock (typically microcap companies) through false and misleading statements to the marketplace. After pumping the stock, fraudsters make huge profits by selling their cheap stock into the market.
Pump and dump schemes often occur on the Internet where it is common to see messages posted that urge readers to buy a stock quickly or to sell before the price goes down, or a telemarketer will call using the same sort of pitch. Often the promoters will claim to have "inside" information about an impending development or to use an "infallible" combination of economic and stock market data to pick stocks. In reality, they may be company insiders or paid promoters who stand to gain by selling their shares after the stock price is "pumped" up by the buying frenzy they create. Once these fraudsters "dump" their shares and stop hyping the stock, the price typically falls, and investors lose their money.

The key is understanding
The key is understanding that pink sheet stocks are not investments - 99% of them will lose value over the long run and never accomplish most of their forward looking pumping statements they put in press releases or on their websites. Never believe the hype - always be skeptical of everything you hear.
The people mostly making money with pink sheet stocks are promoters, front loading pumpers with big followings they can dump on, crooks, some of the flippers, and sometimes the very lucky.
Pumpers only tell you to buy stocks that they already own. Pumpers only tell you to hold stocks because they want to make sure you hold longer than them.
They make money by pumping the stock and getting other people to buy then dumping their shares on the followers.
If you really want to take the risk of trying to make money trading pink sheet companies then you have to understand how the game works and never ever hold long term - take profits when you can. Pump and Dumps dominate the IHUB forums.
Trading pink sheet stocks is a sick game full of lies and deceit where people take advantage of the inexperienced and naive stealing away their life savings for their own personal gains.
Very little respect or morals exist in stinky pinky land.
