Hi Phillip,
Hope you dont mind me asking. I recall at one time you had a friend that drove by the port site and gave us a picture of the area. I am just curious, if your friend has seen any activity on the site? (if he has been by lately) Thank you!
Best to all,
WW

Best to all,
WW
Thanks for the update. I figured Covid put a freeze on everything. Not even sure Jim can fly to the US right now.
Phillip
I’ve been watching this for years, they keep surviving with nothing. I think it’s funny that I’ve talked to my friends down south in this industry and no one has ever heard of this “proposed” project.
IronchefQuezon, it definitely has not helped that groundbreaking has been announced every year for the last decade, but nothing has come from any of those news releases. Visible construction on the site would go a long ways to improve investor confidence. Most likely, they are still unable to obtain the necessary financing to get the project started. Money is always the key.
Best to all,
WW
Without news of groundbreaking I fear this one can be put to bed.
The U.S exported 546,435.2 metric tons of wood #pellets in February, up from both 500,904 tons in January and 501,563.9 tons in February 2019, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service
Very quiet because we get bashed when we speak.
OCsdtans! I love it! I want intelligent disucssion. Thank you for your post, and any, including difficult ones are welcome by me. This is an energy speculative position. I like believers, as long as they are grounded on reality. For quite a while this board was trying to read the tea leaves of whether the company would break ground. I am embedded. Not my best pick, but I am long BMSPF. And I appreciate your post. Keep them coming, but let's know the fundamentals. May BMSP find a customer! Best to all. (I am still long)
Please Waves70 don't take this the wrong way because I want nothing but the best for Jim, Biomass and all of us. With that, all the years I've had this stock, the miss opportunities and blown deadlines in sedars fillings, I will bet you dollars to donuts biomass will produce squat this year. Now add to that this out of control China Virus, the fact that there predicting the next ground zero to be New Orleans's and the millions of lost jobs, the writing on the wall for Bio is crystal clear. I always root for hope but odds are stack high for not.
Very quiet on this board. I think people realize this company does not have a customer yet, and until they do nothing will happen. Last Sedar update just reiterated that they are trying. Everything slows down with corona, but everyone needs energy. With oil so low, and depressed outlook, I do wonder if this industry is going to gain traction any time soon or enough for BMSPF to become "another" player in it, since there are players. We think there is market growth, but again with global factors, who knows? Sure some countries want to replace coal, but there are biomass suppliers. Will BMSP find a niche? I hope so, but I have hoped for too long. Too long in it now to get out I guess. It aint dead yet, we have that. Anyway, I hope all are SAFE. Let's get through this Pandemic. This too shall pass (maybe like this company, lol...).
Great article Iron Chef, let's hope Biomass wakes up from hibernation and rolls the tables this year. On a side note even thought this has nothing to do with the biomass industry, this corona virus epidemic is not helping with the uncertainty in Europe and abroad. One example would be Pinnacle stock. Just 2 weeks ago it was trading at 11 dollars, it's down to low 9's today.
Wow WW actually posts some objective data. Congratulations Sir. Really. No mean spirit. We need more of this. Objective, actionable data. According to their report, they feel good about 2020. Hang on yet. Best Regards.
Thanks for the update.

The ONLY Person of Reason here is Richard2 , ONLY. The rest are whiners and wishers. Pure bullshit. Preach ON Richard! I'll listen to you any day! You know what you are talking about.
Thanks for your WISHING WW. More complaining surely ahead.
Your understanding of the industry is lacking. As someone who is in the industry, Russian has has not displaced any wood pellet demand from Europe. Japan is mostly hype right now, it looks as if they will become a major player in pellet demand, but it hasn’t happened yet. I do agree it will happen, but when is the question. I dealt with Japanese buyers in 2013, they didn’t actually execute a contract, but it is coming in a big way. That doesn’t mean Europe isn’t the big player right now.
Phillip, thanks for sharing.
Best to all,
WW
Not much in the way of news, but the December minutes for the Port were released and mentioned that BMSPF was going to be on site in early January.
Phillip

Richard2,
Yes but this plant does not have a customer to buy the stuff. And the plant is still three months away from completion. This is a "Climate Change Hype" article in a very liberal state.
I would rather not have debt service payments without a signed customer. Why PPG in Oregon delayed its switch plan in 2017 is quite obvious. Trump got elected and natural gas supplies from fracking took off.
I still believe there is a place for BMSPF in the future. But Germany has moved "whole hog" for natural gas from Russia. And Europe will follow. My dilemma is "The only place for Biofuels now is Japan." The rest of Asia could care less about "Climate Change".
The big question is how long will the Port in Louisiana wait. And the state has $140 million committed that could surely be used elsewhere. This is the game of "chicken" we are now playing.
Mid February 2020 will be the tale of the tape. Either it is a go or more searching the universe looking for that right star.
Interesting if you read full article, they are building plant without off-takes. Plenty of interest in Europe and Japan so they will probably not have a problem getting off the ground.
First commercial scale torrification company in the US... it's not BMSPF

Snick!
I looked at the last year of BMSPF Sedar filings. If the trend holds true, the next BMSPF filing on SEDAR will be on Wednesday, February 12, 2020. Until that date, let us all take a vacation from stating any opinion on this company.
Nothing but losers and daydreamers follow this company. It is headed down the same path as FASC - a road to nowhere. I gave up on this company years ago as I did on FASC. Over a dozen years of no progress - I would say the writing is on the wall - don't you think? The guys running this company are so long in the tooth, they are probably already in a retirement home. Time is running out.
I call this constructive criticism and you people should start facing reality as I did years ago with this and FASC.
Is this really what you have to contribute? Your brain is like your
handle, Snickers. Peanuts. Nothing there.
For what's it's worth, I post the following. Germany is shuttering the last of its nuclear reactors. They rely most on USSR gas, and on local sources, including coal, which they want to get off of. If they remove nuclear, they will have no choice but to burn fuels, and they will want use bio-fuels to replace coal. This is a long story, but hang on guys, there are no other alternatives when you get down to it. Look it up on Germany on your own.
Wildwertski, thank you for this constructive piece of solid information on the industry. Positive is better than negative! Cheers
Mr. Carroll has been running this company since I think 2007? 13 yrs? How is he getting paid his salary? Or is he working for $1 a year like Donald Trump?
Playing out a lot like First American Scientific Corp. Only they had sales before the old CEO passed on. I wonder if we get any sales before Mr. Carroll dies of old age.
Some more information I ran across dealing with Japan. They are increasing the amount of pellet tonnage they import with each passing year. Im guessing some of the new Pellet plants being established here in the US will be grabbing some of that business. Good to see lots of new activity in the Biomass field. Running across more and more articles everyday. There is definitely more activity showing up now in the biomass field. Also just saw Pinnacle was building a pellet plant in Alabama close to a large sawmill.
Oh! I thought I was posting to intelligent people. I see I was wrong. Ugh - I really need to get off this board. F@#%!
Wildwertski, "hoper extraordinaire" why did you invest in this? Oh wait, you did not invest: you speculated, and you blame everyone else for it. And worse, you are a Whiner extraordinaire. Sad. This board is sad. Is there any Mind here? Probably not, like Twitter.
So why "Snickers01" (what a cute name) are you here? Another "hoper" and "whiner" like Wilderwertski or whatever his name is? As the saying goes to lesser experienced people, "past performance is not indicative of future results." Point to Jim Carroll's past, and I can only say no one can guarantee it will be it's future. Not my wisdom.
Too bad Trump wasn’t CEO of BMSPF. He would’ve had this up and running 15 years ago. Just a fun thought on this New Year’s day.
What are Jim Caroll's accomplishments from the past? Check him out and you will be surprised. Not quite a Donald Trump but there are similarities for sure.
In defense of the company, I think actually for a "stinky pinky" stock, they have done pretty well. They might have hyped up the building plan a bit, but maybe they legitimately thought it was moving along. They don't seem to be fleecing investors, at least yet, from what limited amount I can tell. They do their Sedar filings. They got huge plans ready, bonds, leases, etc. They have not flamed out. I've seen other projects build before they had product demand and wind up losing everyone's money and looking like complete asses. I think they have accomplished an awful lot and are proceeding wisely. We're the dumb-dumb's for buying the stock before there is even revenue! Whether there is enough demand for their product, I don't know. Or whether they just aren't adept enough at getting a deal done, I don't know. Guess we will continue to wait and see. It's not dead yet. OK, who's going to get Trump's attention?
Hey - I think you are onto something. I mean it's kind of "coal" right? And he's bringing back coal. He'd negotiate more and better deals for BMSP than anyone in the history of the world! And come on, I think he knows a thing or two about building... "You want a plant? I'll build the best biocoal plant ever - and Louisiana will pay for it!"
Hey Waves70 how about this angle, haven't really heard it talked about. Maybe just maybe it's possible that the people surrounded by Jim and Biomass are just terrible negotiator's. They may have degrees and experience in this field, but they just can't get it done.
Let's do this route, it may cost Jim a pretty penny but let's hire the greatest negotiator the worlds ever seen President Trump. I guarantee he will drain the swamp and get Biomass on the world stage.
I've been more frustrated with myself for buying penny stocks like this on "hopes" and "pipe dreams" rather than on fundamentals. It also seems people are not really looking at the situation here. The last MD&A on Sedar is pretty clear and is what I have been saying: they are not going to move forward with anything until they have an "order" or an "off-take agreement" from someone to purchase their product. They have even said this in the past. In the last report, they said they had an off-take agreement but the customer withdrew. They say they are talking to Japanese companies now and might have some news of a decision from those talks by the end of this month. However, with holidays and the end of the year, it could easily be sometime in Q1 before there is news. This last MD&A spelled it out clearly for me. As I see it, there will be no moving forward until they have a customer. When they have an off-take agreement, I'm sure we'll hear about it. For now it doesn't seem like there is any more need of updates than that. And if no customer, this thing will eventually die, and we can spend another decade with a new name and new plan for the stock from these guys, haha. Good Luck to all. It's not dead yet though. I hope they find a customer.
Crickets, crickets and more crickets wildwertski. I'll say it again like I did last year, silence from Jim and the Biomass company speaks volumes. I'm not asking for huge pr's but put out fricken something saying your still alive. These 3 month sedar filings are worthless when you blow by the target dates they put in them. The last sedar statement said by dec 31st this year we will have some news, ha funny good joke but predictable. See you next year suckers and I'm one of them.
This year is almost gone, so I doubt we will be hearing any good ground breaking news before the end of the year, but I would surely welcome it. Hate to admit how long I have been here, because that leaves the door wide open for a good bashing. LOL. Looks like I will be hanging on a little longer. sigh. Might as well continue to let it ride. Seeing lots of good news and development in biomass everywhere except here. Maybe we will be lucky. Who knows... However, after all these years(or should I say decades?), I have decided I will be take out some of my buy in cost when it is possible. Should have done that years ago.
Best to all,
WW
Dec is upon us and 2020 is right around the corner. The end of month is the so-called latest sedar predictions that will bring us great news for Jim and Biomass. I'm crossing my fingers hoping we don't blow by another prediction date, because Jan 2020 will mark I've had this uneventful stock for 8 years.
I have seen so much more activity in the Biomass field in the last year. You can find news now almost everyday about something in various Biomass areas, either research, or new development. The Government has also been making more and more grants for development and research. It seems like it would be the perfect time for a start up company with a good plan to get moving with construction. It behoves Mr Carroll to be investigating some of these opportunities.
Best to all,
WW
I don't know of anything, but perhaps those buying and selling do. I've never understood the price and volume movements of this stock.
Phillip
Interesting volume, and I see more MMs on L2
Something going on?
Just an observation, I find it so hilarious that almost everyday at 1259 pm when bio is well below .01 that someone spends 5 bucks to bring it to .01.
Just a comment, like anymore cares what the stock price is when were at a lull stage.
