Thank goodness.....burpp!
Burp, FWIW: Dave, Grubmaster, removed the ability to use font color because of the abuse of the feature by a few posters. They say it was never really a feature, but some miswritten code that somebody had figured a way around.

To post an image it must first be located on the web, most, but not all images will ‘remote link’ to iH, To do so simply use the iH charting tool: [-chart]www… [chart-](without dashes).
Place your mouse or pointer over the image,
Right Click over the image and select ‘properties’,
Copy the URL starting after the “http://” ,and beginning with the “www” (if it there is one),
Place this between the [-chart] & [/chart-] (without dashes).
If you would like to use your own image, you can upload and host your own images for free at:

No, as I stated in the posts concerning color fonts, they only work in the opening line of a post, and then only for the first twenty-seven characters. You say you want a bigger font; have you have considered using one of the free text generators and using the image? Here are some great freebies that I use quite frequently:
3DtTextMaker
CoolText.com
FlamingText.com
If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.
It appears these font changes only work in the title of a message correct? I want to embed some larger fonts into the ibox, is that possible?
Anytime, glad to help.
Duh..! No wonder I was having a problem embedding it. lol Thanks..
Hi Asus, you only need the </font> once, it will kill all the font tools.
* <font color=blood>Opening Link In New Window:
If you want to post a remote link and have it open in a new window, you need to put:
target="_blank" immediately in front of [/url-] in the line of code, making sure to leave a space after the .com and before target. (without the dashe)
This will enable the link to open in a new window while leaving your I-Hub window open.
Example:
Onebgg.net
Code for above example:
[-url]www.onebgg.net target"_blank"[/ur-][-tag]Onebgg.net[/tag-] (without the dashes)
Note: My tanks to Mr Nasdaq for turning me onto to this bit of info.
* <font color=blood>Stacking Images Side By Side:
Do Not put a space between them. If you omit the space between images you can stack as wide as you wish; however, it may not fit on the screen, and viewers will have to scroll from side to side. It’s been my experience that this usually annoys people, JMO.
Example:
Sample Of Above Code: (No Dashes)
[-chart]onebgg.net/Eaglesig01.jpg[/chart-][-chart]onebgg.net/Eaglesig01.jpg[/chart-][-chart]onebgg.net/Eaglesig01.jpg[/chart-]
Note: My thanks to my friend Phil (bullrider) for pointing out the need for this tidbit of info.
Thank you, Gary...
I'm learning...slow but sure, thanks to you. ;)
* <font color=blood>Font Colors:
Note: Works For Posts Only
Fist I must tell you that the font color will only appear in the first twenty seven characters, and the HMTL (hyper text mark up language) will be apparent when the post is opened and read.
Font Color Instructions:
There must be at least one character before the HMTL code is used, I usually use an asterisk.
Submit the post with the code and then click on the “Edit” button; now click on the “submit” button to ‘Turn On’ the font code.
There are many colors in the word of HTML, but only a few work here, and they may not always be the same color as in standard HMTL. Proper color names as well as most hexadecimal codes.
Font Color Code Example: <font color=red>
To End Color: </font>
Here are some colors that I know will work here:
Black: * <font color=#000000>
Blue, Deep Sky: * <font color=#00bfff>
Blue, Dark: * <font color=#00008b>
Blue, Violet: Dark = * <font color=#8a2be2>
Brown, Saddle: * <font color=#8b4513>
Coral: * <font color=#ff7f50>
Gold: * <font color=#ffd700>
Green, Dark: * <font color=#006400>
Green, Light: * <font color=#90ee90> (bright lime)
Gray, Dark: * <font color=808080> (silver)
Indigo: * <font color=#4b0082> (hard to see)
Navy: * <font color=#000080>
Orange: * <font color=#ffa500>
Orange, Dark: * <font color=#ff8c00>
Orange, Red: * <font color=#ff4500>
Pink: * <font color=#ff1493>
Pink, Hot: * <font color=#ff00ff> (fuchsia/magenta)
Purple, Medium: * <font color=#9370db>
Red: * <font color=#dc143c> (crimson)
Red, Dark: * <font color=#b22222> (Fire Brick)
Salmon: * <font color=#fa8072>
Sienna: * <font color=#a0522d>
Teal: * <font color=#008080>
Turquoise: * <font color=#40e0d0>
Violet: * <font color=#ee82ee>
White: * <font color=#ffffff> (almost invisible)

Hi Phil! Thanks for the kind words and for letting me know what Matt said. I really appreciate knowing that.
About helping people and referrals, anytime I can I'm willing; I love helping people, either by PM or on the boards. I help a lot of people out in way of a PM, it's a little less hassle for some folks. A lot of iH members helped me when I first arrived, and many still do. Hey, It's all family here, and it makes it all a better experience for us all. So send anyone to me anytime, I don't mind at all, in fact I like it.
JMO, Gary
Gary,
Many thanks for all of the help you provide here.
Matt even told me you know more about Iboxes than he does.
That's why I always send Ibox inquiries your way.
I hope you never tire of me requesting your help, and sending others to you.
Phil
Yup, it works well...
u may stop by and amire it if you wish...

Wow, That's kind of strange. I only use yahoo for e-mail days. I'm so busy right noe that I hardly ever get to my computer anymore, LOL! Let me know how things turn out. That is really strange though, thanks for letting me know.
OBTW, I hope to be placing more tool info here in the future as I get time.
ONEBGG...we ended up using a mutual Yahoo account for our board's watchlist, and put the links and the password in the iBox. Well see if Yahoo allows us to get away wih that. Still looking for a better solution...
Thanks again for your help - and your ibox board. Very informative!
I think Gary was doing some testing and forgot to change it back.
Have fun,
Phil
I don't understand the question.
Have fun,
Phil
John,
If you want to make the font smaller on your computer click on "view" and then "text size", and then choose the option you want.(On IE)
Other than that Gary should have answered your question.
Have fun,
Phil
Anytime, If I can can help I'm glad to do so.
OK..Thank you!!
Update: "Hi John! Sure However do remember this, the font size just like font color will only work on the first 27 characters of the opening line (Heading) in a post and not the i-box.
For a post: To color and size use these examples as your guide:
Note: You Must First Have One Character, it can be anything, a period, an asterisk or anything, I often use an asterisk.
*<font size=4>$$$$
*<font color=red>$$$$
*<font color=red size=4>$$$$"
Edit: OBTW, Don't forget that after you post you will need to hit "Edit" and then "Update" to 'turn on' the code.
