Hi John! Sure However do remember this, the font size just like font color will only work on the first 27 characters of the opening line (Heading) in a post and not the i-box.

For a post: To color and size use these examples as your guide:

Note: You Must First Have One Character, it can be anything, a period, an asterisk or anything, I often use an asterisk.

I really didn't get the board "back", because I never had it.

Actually, I think Carolyn started the board, but wasn't an active member.

The board was started 4/7/2001. As of 10/04/2003 when THG posted this: #msg-1536269, the board had 340 posts.

Peggy Sue, Bucky, GregS, myself and others were there having fun, chatting, and sharing recipes.

Well, THG conviced Matt somehow to let him take the board over.

So, in about 9 months after he took control of the board, the board had another hundred or so posts. Only about 50 this year and none since July.

Since Matt gave the board to me on Friday evening the board has had over 400 new posts.

Lot's of new recipes and people having fun again.

The only credit I deserve though is allowing people to have fun.

The success of the board depends on the people that post there.

I hope you will find time to join us soon.

I met Mick on some of the boards we frequent and he is helping me as an assistant on the recently revived recipe board.

Gary will add you as a moderator of the board if you want to play around a little.

Just let him copy the Ibox so he can restore it later before you start playing with it.

You can also use the board to test your posts, but there are already lots of testing places on Ihub:

Just enter the word test in your Ihub search engine and click on subjects.

Here on iH we do not currently have a break <BR> tool or a centering <CENTER> tool, what we does have is a Preset Tool, [-pre][/pre-] (without dashes), use this tool and then use your space bar to move the images or text to where you want it to be, This is a great charting tool, here is an example:

Posting a sound is pretty much the same as posting images except you use the iH sound tool [-sound][/sound-].

To post a sound it must first be located on the web, most but not all sounds will ‘remote link’ to iH, To do so simply use the iH sound tool: [-sound][/sound-] (without dashes).

Place your mouse or pointer over the audio source, for example in Media Player it is on the ‘Now Playing’ page in the ‘Playlist’ tag that’s green in color and located in the upper right hand corner,

Right Click over this the go to ‘properties’,

Copy the URL starting after the “http://” and beginning with the “www” (if it there is one”,

Place this between the [-sound] & [/sound-] (without dashes).

There are two ways to hotlink (active link) to a post or board here on iH:

To link to a message here on iH or on SI use the iH Message Tool: #msg-######.

Go to the post you wish to link to,

Now copy the numbers at the end of the URL after the Equal sign located in the address bar or in properties,

Place these numbers after the dash in the Linking Tool as in this example: #msg-4573232.

This one of the coolest features here on iH and that’s really saying a lot as there are many!

Hot Linking (remote linking) outside of iH:

This is easy to do but has one drawback that must be dealt with and remembered, this being that once you have posted the links to the I-box or post, the links and script will be broken (lost and scrambled) if you edit (open) it.

To avoid this I suggest copying the i-Box or post Before you hit the Submit button. (I save a copy on MS Word).

Note: If you forget to copy the i-Box or post, Do Not Panic, Just hit the back button in your browser and the script will be there. Hint, Copy it! )

Hot Linking also known as an Active Link or Remote Linking here on iH is done with the following script: [-url][/url-][-tag][/tag-] (without dashes).

Copy the URL starting after the “http://” and beginning with the “www” (if it there is one”,

Paste this link in between the [-url] & [url-] (without dashes) of the hot link script.

Now place the text or image of what you want to link to in between the [-tag][/tag-] (without dashes) part of the hot link script. Here is an example:

This hot link is to My Wife’s Art Work.

The Above Code:

This hot link is to [-url]www.angelfire.com/art2/carolsartondisplay[/url-][-tag]My Wife’s Art Work[/tag-]. (without dashes)

Hello! This board was created for the sole purpose of having a place to experiment, practice and/or build an i-Box (information box) without having to disturb your current i-box on your board.

Here is the way this works: If you wish to use the I-box here send me a PM me or just to post to me (reply posts are best) stating so, I’ll then appoint you as an assistant which gives you i-Box privileges here and you can have at until you are finished, then you can Cut & Paste this i-Box to yours.
