It's unlikely Benz has anything to do with AEGY now since Hipple filed a Florida Corporation Annual report with Sunbiz on March 25, 2014 and electronically signed his name under the title of [AEGY's] "Corporate Council"

This implies Benz removed himself as AEGY's legal council to prevent being disbarred for colluding with Hipple once these details surfaced.

I spoke personally with Mr. Benz a little over a week ago and he was still lead counsel and the 2 companies were getting together to work on the merger at that time.
