Another nice post.. You say:

The emergence of independent but paid analysts is not a bad thing and it can make sense for Wave (or other companies) to utilize them in order to get a financial and fundamental analysis into the public domain

So how do we reconcile the fact that Soterbreir/Dutton,thinks Wave makes TPM's? What good is financial and fundamental analysis if it is essentially incorrect?

Wave and/or Dutton can't seem to get out of their own way. One step forward and two steps back?

Rachelelise - Right on the money

"I think Wave will be able to finance the company under almost any scenario but the cost (which is currently way too high) could become even higher. There is obviously always the possibility of a buyout and all sorts of upside if sales ever really begin and/or additional gorilla partners are added."

The cost has been and will be to the shareholders through considerable dilution. This is substantially exacerbated by a share price of .53 vs $34 in 2000 and it most likely will get worse.

For some reason I can only post a few lines at a time, so the balance is continued in the next post.

Rachelelise Part 2

If indeed Wave has a product and IP of value, and apparently they do, I would be heavily leaning toward your possibility of a buyout senario. There is very little to prevent that from happening other than wishful thinking. Management no longer has sufficient control to preclude such a move and as the dilution continues the "Waviod" control diminishes as well. Additionally, the lower the sp goes through dilutive financing, the lower will be the buyout premium.

Were I an interested buyer I would be standing by for the low point ready to move. Obviously there are several canidates which would make a nice fit, with security companies such as Symantec leading the pack.

As a long time long, and large position holder, I hope I'm wrong, however I think we would be naive to beleive this outcome is too far down the list.

I'd be interested in your or anyones thoughts.
