As much as I would like to promote the idea that cancellation of the SBP means there will be no more shorting of OTC stocks....so that I can then have a discussion with some where I can say "but there is no more shorting I thought...."

The reality is the SBP program never applied to most OTC issues and had no involvement in naked shorting.

There is very little shorting of penny stocks.
