KiKi has seemed entirely normal ever since what seemed to be a few scary head tremors earlier today that were more pronounced than the ones I've observed over the 4 years I've had her.
She is again chasing her brother around the house (she is almost always the instigator of chases and play-fights) and had no head tremors when she just again came to me for affection. It has always been during times of her seeking affection that I have noticed the occasions when she has had slight head tremors and they have always previously been very slight.
In searching online regarding cat head tremors, it appears it can be an inherited condition that is not life-threatening. Since I've noticed them a couple of times a month ever since she came to live with me four years ago, I suspect and hope that this could be the case. I'll call her vet tomorrow to see is she should receive additional evaluation, however I am feeling less worried tonight. She is acting completely normally.
Tigger and KiKi are my "kiddie cats." They are like children to me. I lost my last cat to cancer when she was only 11 years old several years ago.
The cat who was my family's only pet when I was growing up lived to be almost 18 years old. He was an amazing cat who was truly a family member. Everyone in my familily grieved when he passed from kidney failure.
