You do understand that the 100% common stock dividend has not been issued yet, so the company has not doubled the common as of today, don't you?

So now let's discuss what happened to the short interests a few days ago when the company doubled the common....

Oh wait....so people that were short MDBX at $20, $30, $40 per share and were called in at $10 per share took a huge bath?

how does that work?

That means everyone that was short got called in and took a huge bath. Ouch!

Some people just don't like scams, just like how some people are sleazy shills for con men who impersonate lawyers, rip off immigrants, commit grand theft, burglary, solicitation...... The company is backed by sleaze and run by sleaze. They can't even get shares registered with the SEC they are so bad. They are right back to trying to push a form 10 through it is laughable as it gets.

Allow me to try to spread some light on the misinformation you posted. Before MDBX announced its dividend consisting of restricted shares, I had a 1,000 share short position in MDBX. My brokerage account with Interactive Brokers, an institutional and retail brokerage which offers the possibility of shorting any equity for which borrows can be located, still shows that I have a 1,000 share short position. I did not get "called in" and I did not take a huge bath. My short position remains quite profitable, thank you very much.

Common sense apparently has little to do with this.

They issued a PR before the open on the 19th to announce a distribution, stating that the distribution has a declaration date of December 28th.
A declaration date, as its name implies, is the date on which the dividend is declared...aka announced. Announcing a distribution with a declaration date in the future is oxymoronic.
