Sure. If SS is willing to offer more than SS' pay-out, I'd take the money. Somehow I doubt he will fork over money to Wave that is already in his pocket.

But the discussion began with a discussion of giving scrambls to SS instead of the amount Wave owes him.

SS maintains scrambls had value. He's possibly the most likely buyer. There's a necessary transaction to perform as a result of releasing him. He's also in an awkward position to offer less than Wave invested in scrambls.

So yes - if it is part of the compensation package, the amount is interesting.

Not sure why you intervened to say expat was wrong to concede the point. But who cares.
