#234588 RE: New Wave #234587

A New Wave post (26354) for those who may have missed it.

escrow56, your comment below is inaccurate.

"Don't you believe there is a better sales manager or COO than Steven available somewhere in the country? Wave has to perform NOW. This is just greedy and stupid at this point.

Sales come down to face to face meetings with people. If you have a genius at that meeting but he is not a sales pro, smooth, building value, giving you reasons to take action now, the sales will not happen. The potential clients procrastinate."

Investors have known for several months now that Wave has already hired a new sales manager for North America, Bill Solms. I've had several conversations with him at the TCC and have been very impressed that he's the real deal - highly confident, dynamic and focused on a concise sales approach to maximize revenues.

Solms is seeing solid demand from enterprises for a pure TPM/DeviceID play. He expects Wave's revenues from this product line will outstrip SED related sales, even with the drive industry moving to all OPAL in the coming year.

With strong management talents he has shaken up Wave's US sales team by establishing higher performance guidelines, and they've been responding with greater motivation and higher morale.

FWIW, Solms and several other people connected to sales are very bullish on the company right now and each have said they would not be betting against it. The coming weeks and months will tell, but I've been getting a positive vibe all week.
