waveduke, my overall feeling has been very positive.

I should elaborate briefly on my comment regarding enterprise demand for Wave's TPM/DeviceID offering. This is primarily being driven by enterprises that want to eliminate their dependence on tokens. Not only is the management s/w to support tokens expensive but the costs to replace lost tokens has become painfully expensive to many enterprises. Some of Wave's enterprise prospects indicate that nearly 30% of their tokens get lost any given year, and the replacement shipping cost alone would cover a significant portion of Wave's s/w.

BTW, these enterprise sales would mostly apply to Win 7 systems.

hi waveway,

it was a good post.

but if that's the only perspective you hear because it is the narrative you want to hear, then you may return here in five years and say "why didn't anyone offer an alternative"?

they are offering them. you just have to hear the truths which aren't convenient.

nw presents a thoughtful view. but there are others. the more cautious opinions have provided useful perspectives up to this point.
