I don't have a clue, but it wouldn't hurt to try. I worked for Pfizer and Roche in my past and always thought that big Pharma's. had all the answers. I learned otherwise when my sight started to go because of IRITIS...look it up, it's devastating...the only treatment is to put STEROID drops directly on the eyeball.....My occular pressure went through the roof. Had a friend tell me to take OPC3....and in 3 weeks...IRITIS was gone and occular pressure down from 24 back to normal 12 and the pesky IRITIS has never returned. I have been a nutraceutical fan since.
