#6165 RE: Long-vestor #6164

Question: Is it a possible SEC violation for the Prez of a publicly traded company to put out a false press release that could be interpreted as an attempt to boost the stock price?
Don't know, hence the question.
(Whoever answers, please be sure your answer doesn't include anything about a Home Depot rollout)

you are quite misinformed:

Southern yellow pine (often abbreviated SYP) doesn't refer to any one species of tree, but rather a group of species which are classified as yellow pine (as opposed to white pine), and are native to the Southern United States. They grow very well in the acidic red clay soil found in most of the region. The varieties include Loblolly, longleaf, shortleaf, and slash pines.[1] It typically has a density value between 50–55 lbs/cubic foot when pressure treated.

no spruce is SYP. none. zip.

SPF mostly comes from canada. slow growing, tight growth rings.

vast majority of doug fir comes from 2nd and 3rd and 4th growth stands where some is dense and some is not. depends on how fast it grows.

missed it by a mile.
