This is where it gets tricky. If i were to sell right now I'd key the price in I want, I think some people just send sells at market and that goes through the bid. I believe so anyway. Others are more savvy than I about this though

Lets say theres 200 k on the bid for 145 and 10 k on the ask for 146 that means that someone is willing to buy 200k shares for 145 so if you put in a sell order for 200k at 145 you will sell that person your shares and then the bid will move down to next highest bid that someon is willing to buy shares for also called bid whacking and will cause share price to move lower if you want to buy shares and the ask has 10k at 146 and you put in a buy for that and purchase those shares the price will move up to the next highest price someone wants to sell shares for also called slapping the ask and keeps the pps going up.In a perfect world if everyone would buy and sell on the ask the price of a stock would always rise and everyone would make lots of money!!!level II shows all the bids and asks that are currently available.
