I for one appreciate your expertise and insights, and I understand, less the order of magnitude of the problem as you have addressed it. Thanks for your honest posts.

actually "worst case scenario" as you state, would be "cancellation" not a temp suspension.
all i did was call the ICC-ES Engineer on the filing page that you guys posted and he said that it had NO-IMPACT on the product at this time. Also, that cancellation, if it ever came was "A long way down the road".

you make this out to be "Worst case Scenario" for "Anyone With a Building Product" which is simply false.

it appears that you carry the torch of "lumber treatment co's" that wrongfully feel that ECOB will negatively impact their business's.

Eco Red Shield will open up more market opportunities for everyone to sell more wood. Just Coat it with Red Shield!!!! Everyone wins!

i appreciate reliable insight, but there seems to be a bent to what you write.

i did a search. don't you mean "LADBS" instead of LARR?

here is the part you must be referring to:

The approval is based on data in accordance with the ICC-ES Acceptance Criteria for Liquid Borate Fungal Decay and Termite-resistant Treatment Applied to Wood Members (AC 433), dated June 2012 and ICC ES Report No. ESR-3255.
This general approval will remain effective provided the Evaluation Report is maintained valid and unrevised with the issuing organization. Any revisions to the report must be submitted to this Department, with appropriate fee, for review in order to continue the approval of the revised report.

so, they cannot use the product in LA right now?
