24601, I am not sure what you said, but I believe Sony has found a way to make even less of a commitment to Wave than the old IBM/HP ISV ploy. They are saying that Wave supports our TPM (Infineon) so go talk to them if you want to use it.

Since they are using the old standard they are just giving lip service to Trusted Computing.

24601, (and edit)I am not in agreement that there is any persuasive evidence to suggest that Wave is bundled with Sony. I think Wave is not. I think the quote in question is consistent with that. I'm not going to try to spin the sloppiness of the language beyond that, and while this may surprise you along with many others, I'm actually one who prefers clear language. The 1.1b compliant thingy, read as is, simply implies Wave as a standard but says nothing about bundling. But it’s a bit weird to opine compliance with that which largely doesn’t (or didn’t) exist (as measured by real market penetration and revs).
