also, since LDL is coming way down, and non HDL C is coming down, even a tiny reduction in HDL still means that HDL/TC is going materially up...

JL%jtf3: There's significant evidence that HDL is no longer
the accurate metric it used to be. PFE and MRK both dropped
the HDL mimetic programs. PFE's PH III HDL mimetic missed both
primary and secondary endpoints. At a UBS conference MRK commenting
on discontinuing their HDL mimetic program, stated the concept of
good cholesterol has lost support among Cardiologists. I happen to agree and have for many years.
