Loop. My fondest wish:

A press release or SEC filing by IDCC, that doesn't beg more questions than it answers.

It's not so much for my benefit. It would just make it easier to explain to my wife. LOL.

Loop, if I recall correctly Ericy received the CDMA for infrastructure from Qualcomm when they settled. If right they also bought the Q's infrastructe or handset division. Since Ericy no longer does the phones why would they license for CDMA.

When they go for the 3G license then you may see them license for the CDMA in all G's.

Sony-Ericcson would be the ones to license for handsets.

Anyone else can help clarify this if they like.
