Appreciate the explanation and also the admittance that this DOESN'T replace or eliminate a cable bill as many were trying to claim a savings of $1800 a year from that.
I personally don't like the misleading info.
Once again I have managed to get a CEO to come forward to respond direct and concisely which is sometimes all it takes - not certain as to a CEO doing it via a public stock board though as it tends to backfire in just about every time I've seen it.
I said early on I had planned on buying one of these, not because it does what cable does for programming but because I, like many, also have a ROKU streamer and subscribe to Netflix and Hulu content.
This may not replace cable but seems to be an UPGRADE to ROKU's streamer.
Again TY for, at the very least, taking a risky approach and responding to my question about the validity of the speeds and the "replacement" to cable or satellite via these boards.
Seems as far as speed the cable companies don't seem to know much about 4k and the speeds necessary and I may have gotten several of these companies reps giving me incorrect info on speed requirements. I will be looking into that a bit deeper but appreciate your included links.
