Perhaps you could research the life expectancy of some one over 65 who is diabetic , history of CAD and has had a bypass -- JL and Ajax might know.
The PharmaNet staff ( Reduce it ) were very clear to me ---they wanted high risk patients .

The study which I spoke of dealt with new blood vessels and hemorrhage on the retina (and into the vitreous) associated with retinal anoxia from diabetes. The theory is that by lasering peripheral retina, you reroute the blood to the central retina, protecting it. It was controversial until the study proved that it worked.
