Just went on healfasttherapy.com - they are charging $19.95 for what looks like an ActiPatch, roughly the same pricing strategy as in Canada and the UK.

Does BIEL not understand that people will pay a lot more for food products, therapies and solutions for their pets than they will for themselves or their children? Lower the human prices and 'buy' customer acceptance until the drug product buying habits are changed, or continue to languish with zero sales globally. Now I 'get' steve's long-standing frustrations.

Simpsonly-I wholly agree with your pricing strategy. They are overpriced for the uninitiated. They should damn near give these away, with the underlying confidence there will be healthy downstream demand.
Reminds me of Fujitech elevators from Japan many years ago trying to break into the European market, they donated-free of charge-the elevators to a large project. They were so confident in the providence of their product and the service quality to back it up-they eventually gained a huge market share amid stiff European competition.
It's an effective way to advertise-get them out there Andrew!

Actually simpsonly you have hit on a big issue for Canada.

They are using the mark II product which they had manufactured in huge quantities because Greenwood were "just days" away from putting on every pharmacy shelf in Canada. To seal the deal they had to have inventory available - some 80,000 units if I recall correctly?

They then developed the much cheaper to make Mark III model which can retail at around $10 and is the product they are selling in Europe.
(I guess the deal with Boots was never as close as Greenwood/BIEL suggested or they would have had inventory for them)

So AFAIK they are still selling the old product through Actipatch.ca but newer one in Europe (Packaging may be the same as they package in Frederick not in the factory)

Simpsonly-taking it up from yesterday's exchange, IMO the product is almost twice the price that people who have never used the product would be willing to pay-at this stage in sales takeup. I think a price under $15.00 would stimulate more interest and purchases. 30 bucks is too big a leap if it is to be taken in lieu of the tylenols. My opinion only.
