According to the FDA website, the FDA has 30 days to object to the IND filing. Since it was filed on the 7th of February, that puts it on March 9th, which is Saturday. If no FDA objection by then, Clinical trails can start. My guess is if no news by now, then no objection, there is a pre IND filing consultasion phase where the FDA consults with the IND filer to ensure all the proper paperwork and pre filing criteria are in order. Since BMSN is using someone experienced in IND filing to handle matters, you can safely presume that all was in order when the IND was filed. No objection so far and it's been 3 weeks 4 days, I like our chances. BMSN should run hard this week, especially late in the week. No objection by the FDA means, BMSN can proceed as planned with clinical trials anytime after March 9th(30 days).
