Some Mods. leave a board but never resign.

Some Mods. sign up just to keep bashers from being Mods. They aren't interested in the day to day operation of a board so they won't post a Sticky.

Just going to let a Moderator throw up a post with false content??? You need another system for sticky notes that does not allow blatantly false info about a stock company to be put up as a sticky IMO......

Just eliminate the freaking stickies all together, imo. I have way enough drama in my life without needed anymore, caused by squabbles over freaking bits of bandwidth posted by aging retired people with nothing better than to bicker on message boards.

Split 'em 50-50, that's the intelligent thing to do. Certainly don't need 6 stickies, 4 is more than eye-sore enough.

Don't think that's that great of an idea.....Why not let the mods handle it......it's gonna delete a lot of good stickies....specially on boards with not much activity......don't see why sticky removal is a priority over something like makng Ctrl-Enter submit posts........z

$I Need your Help please !

I'm still having trouble with the way my Posts look.

This problem began happening only recently, so I'm wondering if it is because of the recent changes that have been mede with regard to the Stickies.

$Here is the problem:

I Highlight my Ticker symbols and words, by placing a "Dollar Sign" - $, before them.

This use to work fine, until as I said, only recently.

When I Preview my Post, I can see the Highlighted Tickers and other words in Yellow, but after I Submit the Post,
my Post is NOT showing Yellow.

Apparently, something happens, or doesn't happen, during the transition from Preview to Submit, that causes the Final Submitted Post to lose the information that is shown in the Preview version.

Please let me know if you experience the same problem,

I think this was a real bad idea. on my thread we only have 2 moderators so we are now allowed only 2 stickies. How about the threads that have only 1 moderator? Like I said real bad idea.

In my case we had historical data of analysts where new investors and old investors can look back at research. We also had earnings going back 10 years and now IHUB justs blows them all away.

What in the world prompted this bone head idea?

Edit to add: You really need a primary mod on each board. Just remove them if they become abusive, ignore tos, or disappear for long periods.

Gee, thanks for the warning, I put my first sticky posts up 4 days

ago, and already had it removed. I tried to restore it, but gee, guess what, IHUB prohibits posts that are older than 48 hours to be stickied. Now what? Request the author re-post it, and have my post removed in doing so? Wazzzuppy w/that? I appreciate the time and effort w/these sticky post issues from IHUB, but now am forced to start from scratch.

PS- some of us don't have PM in order to ask the author to re-submit their post, fwiw.

I think you all just did a great disservice to investors by this uncalled for mass deletion of useful easy to find historical information deletion of stickies. Nothing like paying for censorship!!!! I am not a happy MODERATOR here anymore!!!

for the MVTG board and save me a few hours of digging to find it myself so I can put that useful info back up?

I suspect you all just created a swarming hornets nest of PO'd MODSs, as it takes a whole lot to get me ticked off.

IMHO there was no good excuse for this mass IHUB wide deletion of stickies!!!!
