There are a few others that are interested in legal action if you want to join. I would love to, but would have no legal standing as I have no loss. I still abhor crooks though.

I don't either, but often in a class action suit, depending on how many of us band together, we don't have to have a bunch of money upfront. Given the circumstances here - ie. it IS a legitimate business, but owners glaringly chose not to take the necessary steps to ensure continuation of the stock - I think it's possible an attorney might look at this and agree the lack of action on the part of Stacy could have been deliberate.
