#143331 RE: Renaissance #143330

Actually, simulators are part of almost all UAS sales. But, while it would be a great marketing tool, unfortunately simulators reveal performance characteristics. Consequently, it is unlikely that we would enjoy a real Argus simulator anytime soon.

What I can't tell is if this development team--Team Macon--is an open source (volunteer group). If they are, one could get them permission to model the Argus fictionally based on public videos and public performance parameters. As long as they had public data and permission to use the trademarked name, I suspect there would not be a problem.

However, the Argus is a little known product--the Macon is an amazing piece of history. Don't know if you could get some hobbyists to adopt it--but, then, I have. Clearly, LTA is making a resurgence and, IMO, this is evidence of it. Greetings, Ren! IJO

Would the simulator show the "ground crew" launching and recapturing the weedeater powered blimp?

https://github.com/ is a place swarming with opensource programmers.

Maybe developing a tactical simulation game where you have objectives like locate/identify IED's and ambushes etc.. where real world fringe products could be used I know I would play it :)
