Acumen, as the Argus patent application states the engine on the Argus is either a Desert Aircraft DA-17 2 cycle UAV engine (17 hp) or a more powerful Bailey Aviation 4V-200 22 horsepower engine depending on the application. The first drives a 36 inch blade and the second a 39 inch blade. The "weedeater" sound is not unusual for small UAV's if you are not used to encountering them in the field, and the comparison is understandable.
