Basically the way I understand it is any use of lets say faxing, uploading, email, etc, done into an EHR SYSTEM, system being the key word, is an infringement.

I think the PTMO approved claims themselves do a good job in outlining the methods MMR uses. Look then at the company in question. Are they doing what is addressed in one, some or all of the claims? From there you have the case. Case accepted or rebuffed by companies recieving notice. Then its a judgement call on taking it to court. At that point I think discovery would bring out the comparative details both for and against infringement. Ultimately, the court would decide. In the meantime, I havnt lost hope yet that there are companies that recognize the claims and come to the table first. http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=81845850

Like to see a copy of the 1000 or so "letters", sent so far, and what it has to say to those differing agencies about MMRF patent...Docs, clinics, dentists, nurses etc.,...Eventually, their validity may be challenged IMO.
A patent infringement suit not cheap at all, and time consuming, possibly yrs. Just because a patent has been issued by some examiner for all of approx. 18 or so hrs, it may still face scrutiny of being "valid".

IMO, seems like it boils down to this...MMRF has PHR, and MMRPro for sale. (maybe some cards?) So far, sales not too good, right??
They have been presented, launched, demonstrated, all over the place for quite some time, correct? Now, some patents relating somehow to the use of those products have been issued, right?? Please correct if wrong. Since those products have not made MMRF profitable, substantial revenues, to date, despite the many many demonstrations, Now, MMRF is sending letters out to hopefully get the sales/licenses/royalties, whatever, by using the patent infringement path for use of those same products that have yet to bring company success thru its past channels? Good ole fashion sales of a good product.
Did I get that right????
Correct me guys, If I am wrong anywhere in this...

So many different avenues in so many PR's, I have no clue what
business plan is anymore, with many ideas still coming forth from outside individuals.

From TechDirt
quote

"One of the bizarre things about the patent system is the "presumption of validity," in which a patent officially has to be presumed valid. Conceptually, this makes very little sense
It seems that even the US Patent Office's own data shows that's simply not true. A friend pointed me to the USPTO's recently released data concerning re-exams (pdf and embedded below), which demonstrates in great detail why patents shouldn't be presumed valid. Basically, the data suggests that an awful lot of patents were handled poorly."

The long and short of our situation is pretty simple so far. Patents, nurses, retail cards, horses and a million other prs to date. There are ALWAYS some early SMART MONIED ANALYSTS AND INVESTERS out there that see an opportunity IF IT EXISTS. So far only us dopes own this loser. In case your not understanding yet, even management DILUTES at these prices. I hope we can make up some of our loses here, but make no mistake we have no paddle.
