Look Warp, you can lambast JR all you want but without him there was no Clark and Estrella to clean up the SEC mess and yes Estrella had as much to do with that as Clark. Sure HW was involved after JR brought these guys to the table.
If you really want to get into a shouting match about people on a message board there are some rumors about our previous company consultant that can be related as well. You don't know JR from adam and you get your poop from HW so lets just leave it at that.,

Why is it that they were unable to do it themselves? Ever ask them that question? Why would the SEC not deal with them? Surely 250k is a drop in the bucket to Mr. M?

I do agree that people will flee when given the chance. And rightly so. If they can recoup something after such a long period who could blame anyone. We all need an exit strategy. However, if real contracts do materialize and we see larger groups buying in. You never know what the future may bring.
