Bill, this is simply an anti texting while driving application AT&T offers for cell service on smart phones and tablets. There are many apps that do this, some with more features than others. I own a stock that has an app that will do far more than AT&T's.
NUNCHI contains this simple GPS tracking feature to disable the device at 10MPH.
They "promised" nothing, just explained this feature was included.
