I don't think the genre that WS falls under has anything to do with how it will perform in theaters. Plenty of films from horror to comedy to drama have done extremely well in theaters on much lower budgets than WS. The fact is here we are a year in and still have nothing not even a trailer. MIKP needs to step it up get this chill removed finish WS and show shareholders that this isn't just a BS company that's just all talk.
You make a very valid point. All movies are different and can be done in different times. Some take a long time to get them to look and sound good, soundtrack is part of post, and others can go right out the door. I actually just read that post usually takes longer than the actual filming process.
