That’s part of the problem, but not the whole problem. The utility and chemical industries are powerful opponents of any proposal that would increase the demand—and hence the price—of US natural gas.

Mr. "O" did say he was going to bankrupt the coal industry in 2008, and looking at some of the players like PCX, ANR, WLT, etc he's doing a pretty good job at trying.
