Loop:

Thank-you. Great post BTW

You said "Sail, do not pay attention to the doom and gloomers over the reaction to KYO."

I don't. To me it is just noise. Although IDCC has stumbled a few times in the past, I think the leadership is much better now and I confident of the future.

You said "The Delaware judge and Nok now have big problems as a result of the KYO license."

I am still confused by the delay in Delaware. Surely the judge could not be influenced by the KYO agreement, as it is after the fact, or could IDCC have said something like---"give us some time, we are in talks with XYZ and DEF that will prove that NOK will need our IPR.

I am kind of between a rock and a hard place. I would like to retire in the next 60 to 90 days (there are other factors that might complicate my decision). Unless IDCC share price moves up, I should cut back in my holding---but I don't want to! Geez, what to do, what to do.

Loop, Good post.

You said, "The Delaware judge and Nok now have big problems as a result of the KYO license. First and foremost, Nok should not have standing as a licensee to challenge any of its now licensed IDCC technology. Even if the Delaware judge fails to follow the law as Judge Lynn attempted and allows Nok standing and subject matter jurisdiction, the law is clear that Nok must challenge the entire portfolio of IDCC preventing Nok from picking and choosing a few patents in its attack. This is a massive undertaking and opens the door for possible cross-actions which Nok so richly deserves."

Let's assume this is correct and the Judge finally makes a favorable decision for IDCC. I thought the weakest link in law would be the USA because murders walk as well as corporate thieves. I know you aren't familiar with UK law but have you heard anything that would indicate their system is more corrupt than ours?

Now what about the 3-G suit in the UK? Did Nokia go after the the whole portfolio?
