What is the lead time from Materion to Visser?

FOB ELMORE, OHIO....... one week max, if not days

Is this why the options were exercized?

No idea

How big is the potential of these 3 customers?

Name of customers, type of prototype, etc. None of the critical information for ascertaining volume and repeatability of sales has been made known. However, Steipp said he potential client already up-fronted the costs of molds and tooling. Therefore, the clients probablility have significant purchasing power.

Is this why Visser just dropped $5mil?

No idea

As Watts questioned, why have the other 2 partnership agreements not been made public? What is disclosed in them that is keeping them private?

I suspect there are revenue sharing arrangements which are confidential and or sales restrictions for the vendors which may be sensitive.

I also listened in on the last Materion earnings and I believe they had a pick-up in comercial electronics. Can someone confirm and do you recall the dollar amount if so?

No idea

Does anyone know the raw material cost?

Ball park estimate: $40-45 per pound, subject to formulation and degree of purity required for each element.

Hi Blotty,

Your post has a lot of logical questioning that pieces together many recent activity we have seen from this company. While I don't know the answers to a lot of your questions, they seem to me to be the right ones. Your background in the aerospace industry has given you insight to observe what could be the timing of the evaluation and ordering of parts. I would like to take a guess that Visser was "all in" after a successful evaluation from a customer. I would like to think that what you wrote is what is indeed happening as that is what I think would be the best case scenario given the recent events for new clients in industries other than consumer electronics.
