Why would IDCC claim % of the IPad screen for its LTE patents? It's been discussed on these boards before. So much of the iphone devices value and components have nothing to do with the Mobile patents whatsoever.
This is true for all smart phones, so it is a bit silly to say we get 3% of $800 etc.
That is the same line of thinking that leads investors to say 'we have 19,000 patents worth $650,000 each' when most of those are duplicate filings across 144 countries patents are filed in.
But fear not, even 1% of a $60 badeband is a massive number, $0.60 etc. much betterthan the 0 we currently get...
Idcc has plenty of room to get back to $50-$60 share price, just not $100+ that I beleive was just overly ambitious dreams of certain excited share holders.
