$NBRI news out!>>>>>North Bay Resources Inc. (NBRI): Ruby Mine Progress Report

SKIPPACK, PA, Apr 30, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- North Bay Resources Inc. (OTCBB: NBRI) ("North Bay" or the "Company") is pleased to issue the following shareholder update on the status of current operations at the Ruby Mine.
The Ruby Tunnel rehab project continues to make steady progress. With the exception of several weeks at the end of March and early April when work was temporarily interrupted from a series of rolling snowstorms in the Sierras, work has continued unabated throughout the winter months and into the spring.

The crew is presently working at the lowest and narrowest location in the Ruby Tunnel. It is slow work, as the tunnel is being now being widened to more appropriate mining dimensions consistent with the rest of the tunnel. This involves considerable jacking along with driving the support materials overhead and mucking out extraneous rock and debris. Additional permanent timber sets are also being installed to reinforce the roof and ribs in this section of the tunnel.

As always, we will continue to keep shareholders informed of our operational progress as we proceed forward towards the start of production.
