Loop,
Thats exactly my problem with IDCC as of now. I'm fearing that its going to be 2G all over again. Even if NOK gets the deleware 3G suit tossed i'm sure they will file against IDCC for something else. Back in 2002 and 2003 I was content to wait it out. Now after seeing NOK's tactics and being able to delay payement for 2G obligations for over 2 years the time has come for IDCC to make or break. NOK obviously isn't going to stop its tactics. IDCC mgmt can say all they want that NOK isn't hindering our licensing efforts but the results have been clearly the opposite. I'm not calling them liars but its one thing to negotiate and talk to potential licensees which I believe is always ongoing, however its another thing to get them to fork over millions of dollars each quarter and sign a contract. I am in the camp that were running out of time thats why in my own mind i'm putting a lot of emphasis on these additional licenees and how big they are, but were coming dangerously close to reliving the 2G saga all over again. Looking back I think the NOK arbitration threw us off our tracks big time. We were on our way and got stopped cold in our tracks.
