jmo....we wouldn't have given the Apple license another thought....even if we lost the stack work product royalties.....if we were able to sign Hon Hai at some point.

Aren't you obviously making the most important point yourself?
The contract has everything to do with the baseband from Infineon, whereas IDCC is getting a partial 'reimbursement' of the royalties that it wasn't getting from APPLE directly, plus the ODM itself which was a MYTH to me?
Anyway the point is that IDCC is not properly reimbursed therefore it is time to re-open the contract on a friendly term with LTE as an incentive? Otherwise IDCC should sent a signal that it would pursuit it via other means.
