#28307 RE: RockStar1 #28302

So you think we hit 50mil cd's? Even that by years end will be a stretch IMO. What is the cash burn right now at SCMI and the goal of CFP? I believe truth of the matter is we are going no where this year and better plan on tightening the belt till next year. SCMI and MMXT have nothing going on to draw in new money. It's mid August so that gives MMXT and SCMI approx. 120 days to reach their goals. By your own account, December is a holiday month, we were told, that much that was expected to happen at that time was going to wait till after first of the year. Is it any different this year?

120 days to "ramp" up......it ain't gonna happen and mgmt would look better if they came up with some real numbers. Remember, mgmt said the 145 mil by November was CONSERVATIVE! 50 mil is a stretch and now we hear for the first time the CSN is, ah, well.......somewhere we just don't know where. I'm still watching the Eall Street Journal and Washington Post and New York Times like you said and I haven't seen anything. Now I guess I have to watch Universal, Warner...yadda yadda yadda...Hell been watching them since we were told they were coming aboard a year ago!!

Good luck, we need it

"D. This is with or without apple or the merger."

BMG and Sony alone with a real, FULL rollout puts us into cash flow positive easily.

What about the other music download services like Yahoo, etc? MMXT should be going after all of them aggressively. I hope they are not just waiting around for AAPL to bite first for iTunes.

Mario & All, I'll provide some answers and additional responses to marios list of 12 (A-L).
A. 4th quarter is the lion share of the record business.
approx 37% - 43% in 4th qtr
B. SonyBmg's Hesse clearly states they will be @ a 100% rate of copy prection by the end of the year or begining of 06.
Rate of ramp up increasing monthly
C. The momentum is going our way with Sony/Bmg, we are getting all the releases including the latest trend from Sony specifically.
Same ans. as B above, also should put the First4 question to bed, ESPECIALLY when Apple/iPod get it together.
D. This is with or without apple or the merger.
Apple would be a plus - ALSO in apples best interest, The MERGER is MISSION CRITICAL to both companies for outside financial support, and is the only way off pinks. you know how I feel about THIS KEY ISSUE VERY WELL
E. If in fact, Apple recognizes copy-protection, with mediamax ipod ready and the best technology out there...Katy and Sally bar the door we are locked into a huge victory/winner = Revenues/higher valuations(JMO).
Ohhhhhh......Apple DOES INDEED recognize copy-protection
F. Legal digital down loads is suddenly, in 2005, a huge business opportunity for mmxt/scmi because of our superior mediamax technological software component, called secureburn. This is huge!
Suddenly a LEGAL & PROFITABLE biz. Yes....HUGE
G. Watch Universal very closely on BOTH the cd and digital down load side, this alone CAN put us @ the top, with the number 1 and number 2 record companies.
Yup, Universal certainly part of the INDUSTRY
H. mediamax is international, this will be marketed very soon.
Uhhhh.....Already being marketed Internationally
I. Warner, is a huge company...video and audio...pay close attention to them, they are up to speed in copy-protection after San Diego.
SanDiego was SPECTACULAR!! And for SunnComm / MediaMax it was real. Warner, BTW was aware before SanDiego.
J. Koch, They are now the 5th largest record company, lets keep are ears open there, rumor is they like the market leader.
LIKE the market leader? Sonopress sold KOCH over a year ago, the ARE the largest Independent, will be fully utilizing
K. Csn is real and big, however the "short term" aspect is in fact coming into question(not under our control).
I posted a couple of weeks ago about "others" who may also be involved - I'll repeat - Microsoft, IBM, AOL, Verisign
L. Dark Noise is/will be in clear pursuit, eventually most possibly plugging up the analog hole.
Hopefully by the October? Shareholder meeting we can get a detailed update from the company
